This game is just great. If only Sony wasn't blatantly breaking EU laws by making it suddenly required to link to PSN.

This is not because of Arrowhead, this is entirely Sony's fault.

Before I begin this review, I want to make one thing clear. I am not very good at writing reviews. I'm just writing what comes to mind rather than following a specific template or standard. So, please keep in mind if it sounds like I am rambling on at certain parts.

At the time of writing, I played the game for 97 hours since release. It's quite a fun game, but with its share of issues.

Crafting
The crafting system of this game can give you much more than I heard from others. It's something I recommend to invest in. You can make some really cool weapons and upgrade iconic ones. The latter wasn't something I found out until several dozen hours into the game. I think that was around the 60 hour mark. It also a neat way to earn money.

Guns
This game has quite a few neat guns. Though, personally I wish they added a medium machine gun. And I'd love if they added some older model weapons. I'm talking Cold War + WWII era. But I can guess that doesn't fit very much into this genre. It's just me loving those weapons.
I am not a huge fan of the common-thing type of the weapons, but it's not a huge turn down. It does add to the crafting.

Vehicles
This is something that I find... meh... about the game. The amount of different cars is nice. But it's just that I am missing something among the usable cars. Armed vehicles and the lack to keep stolen vehicles for yourself. Or the ability to sell stolen vehicles.
That is not to say I don't like some of the vehicles you can get. There is one specifically, but I won't exactly mention which one. It's one you'll have to find for yourself.

Environment/map
Night city is bigger than I originally thought horizontal wise. It is not the biggest map I have seen in that regard, but the vertical size of the map does make up for it.

AI
This is certainly a place that could use some tweaks. It might just be me but the AI of drivers is a little... strange. I have seen more than one occassion of a vehicle stopping for a GREEN traffic light.

Cons
The game has its bugs and glitches. I haven't found many game breaking. One very glaring issue that I came across is a audio issue during fights in vehicles. Where sounds are delayed until the end of the segments. Luckily those segments aren't common, but they are immersion breaking for me as of this moment.

Originally, I had a lot of graphical and sound issues, which were fixed by updating my graphic card. I have some issues with that, but those are more towards NVidia than to CDPR or Cyberpunk 2077. I'd be nice if they (NVidia) actually tell me how big the update is.

Conclussion
Personally, I find Cyberpunk 2077 an interesting game and I would recommend it. However, I do think people need to have more patience with the game. I am of opinion that if the game remained several more months into development, it would have been a much better game. Maybe even game of the year, but I don't think it is in its current state. I have mentioned it before on the forums, but I will do it again here.

The last 10% of development takes as long as the first 90%.

Ninety-Ninety Rule, look it up.

Disclaimer:
This review does not reflect my point of view on the current version of the game.

This game is severely lacking in content. Even with the updates so far. Do not buy.

If you still want to buy it, wait for a few more years.

Game has potential. Unfortunately, it's abandoned. I recommend to look elsewhere.

An old but great game. It is better in almost everything than ea made. The only thing their gane was better in was graphics. This game has a lot more content than ea's 'reboot'. And to make it better, no dlc needed.
One other good thing this has, but ea's will most likely never have is mod support. If you are willing to invest time, you could get even more out of the game. More than you can ever do with ea's.

It sure has some problems, like the multiplayer requires mods since the original servers are gone. Playing on newer OS has issues as well as this game hasn't been optimized for newer OS.
