I do not recommend this update if you're interested in the new spell crafting feature. Had I known the new spell crafting was going to be so limited then I would have waited to purchase this until if/when they expanded the skills we can craft and I would've bought something else for this month.

I've been hanging on to this game for years and I just casually play it at random times. Sometimes I go months without touching it and sometimes i'll hunker down for days. Other than the game's beauty; my favorite aspect is how ESO appeals to my wanderlust. Every time i log in I don't even pay too much attention to whatever I was doing before. I just wander around until things happen. But that's not to say that this is what ESO is about. It certainly has all the open world MMORPG things you'd expect. Right now my fav classes are the Necromancer tank and the healer Arcanist.

You can't link your existing game to Steam. If you want to switch to steam you have to start fresh.

For me this is just a basic mmorpg but with a full controller option. After six hours i have no complaints and am actually enjoying myself. But i'm not an endgame type of player. In any mmorpg i follow the story and enjoy the leveling and skill building along the way. I'm basically just along for the ride and am not disappointed at all. 1000% recommend this to causal gamers!
[EDIT] So 80hrs in i'm still enjoying it but I'm discovering that there is no Premium subscription. I learned this because I bought a Founders pack to get an extra character slot and it came with 7-days Premium Benefits. This doubled my inventory and I enjoyed that because i've been struggling to managing space. So after it expired I decided to continue Premium Benefits but there isn't one (the currency booster in the webstore is not the same thing). Additionally, I discovered there is no way to reset skill points. I DO still recommend this game but if we had a rating system I'd knock it down one star.

Love this game! Feeds my needs for cyberpunk and wanderlust.
