Realistic, complex, unforgiving, yet strangely addictive. A relatively steep learning curve, even thought the tutorials are great. Lots to keep you engaged for hundreds of hours even without the expansion packs.

I got this game as part of a Humble Bundle and it sat in my library for quite a while before I thought to try it. For a game that was released in 2011 I can't believe how much I enjoy playing it in 2019!

As a solo experience is well balanced and it is good fun and quite challenging to learn and build up, but not so much as to be discouraging.

Multiplayer allows between 4 to 6 players on a map and it is very easy to join a game.
