I have no idea what I just played, but I had fun.

Having half of your units stuck in useless towers is no fun. Also, walking/riding simulator.

Never had this much fun dying all the time.

If you loved the original Stronghold, you will love this aswell. Wood needed.

Creepy fun

Gameplay (gunplay + riding the motorcycle) is really solid
Characters are bland
Story is kinda bad
Challenge mode is boring
Quests feel mostly the same with few variety (kill X humans/zombies, stalk scientist, retrieve X items)
Even though the world is really big it feels empty most of the time

7/10, enough fun for one playthrough

Game was fun until the last pool room (invisible enemies that one-shot you, yay). Sadly a frustrating experience all in all.

Atmosphere and story-telling are really good. The voiceover is also well done. It's a fun game for one playthrough. Two things bother me though: 1. One of the worst movement in any game I ever played (this gets especially frustrating with quick-time-events). 2. This game triggers one of my worst game anxieties there is. You are collecting evidence at some place and take a look around. Then, you find an interactable item. If it is an important item for the quest/mission, the game just carries on and you can not take a look at the rest of the area to find the rest of items. You also can never go back. So just pray that you find the unimportant items (e.g. collectibles first), otherwise tough luck. How is this sort of game design still a thing in 2019?
As I said, fun for one playthrough, but can be a bit frustrating in some scenes.
