Yes, there is a bit of stuttering. Yes it doesn't go above 60 FPS. Yes it doesn't have Unreal Engine 5 graphics but god it is one of the best game I've ever played. I think today's players are a bit spoiled. I remember playing Far Cry 3 or Crysis at 25 fps (if I was lucky) with so much tearing my brain was constantly on the verge of epilepsy, and I was happy. But maybe is just me!

The sense of exploration in this game is absolute wonder. Think BOTW, but that takes you more seriously, more difficult, more handcrafted. The characters, in true souls fashion, are nothing short of epic. Progression is real and rewards are always on point. Elden Ring respects your time, more checkpoints, no time wasted in useless animations and a MASSIVE open world, that you can take your time to explore, full of stand alone stories and adventures. I am 22 hours in and I have only partially explored Limegrave, the starting area which is said to be around 10/12% of the game. I just randomly discovered an underground river area, accessed through a mausoleum in a forest infested by giant bears, inhabited by ghost centaurs which is half of the size of Limegrave itself, completely randomly. i could have missed this so easilu should I have progressed just with the main story and side quests. The sense of exploration in this game is NUTS, and (unless you just like hand-holding games) you'd be crazy not to try it!

Soma is a journey through ethics, choices and a future. It'll make you feel alone, it'll make you think and ultimately make you feel like you don't belong anymore, and that everything has an end. But it'll make you feel something, which in the current status of gaming industry is already a big achievement.

Is also pretty f*** scary!

One of the best RE to date. There are some flaws, the story and some interactions can feel a bit "guided" and obvious at times compared to old RE games. However I don't think this impact the overall experience which IMO remains positive. Good action, nice progression, cool characters and one of the scariest section EVER in the Beneviento manor, good luck.
