I enjoyed every title in the Homefront series. Each had their own charm. Mixing a little open world combat with run and gun action dabbled with some basic RPG leveling and unlocks for new tech gear or upgrades to weapons. I find it satisfying to be the underdog and have to slowly take over sectors one by one, and as you progress you can actually see real evidence of change. As some areas devolve into open anarchy and chaos due to your actions. So the world is evolving based upon your actions. I am not saying it is the best game of all time. And it has its shortcomings and bugs at times. But overall, I find it a very satisfying game I still spool up now and then for some basic fun.

Surprisingly fun game.

Take the crazy humor of Postal and mix with the combat and open world of GTA and you get this game.
A crazy story with colorful characters and humorous combat mechanics.

I look forward to what the rest of the story has to offer. They are on the right path.

Great game.

It easily captures the feeling of the films. And no matter how many hours I put into it, I still occasionally get that feeling of panic and utter shock when something grabs me from behind or a swarm overwhelms my fireteam. I honestly cannot think of any other games I play that can consistently surprise me and make me feel moments of total panic.

The dev team is actively releasing new content and improving on current performance. I will not bother listing the minor issues here, as they will likely be fixed tomorrow. The short of it is, nothing released by anyone in modern times, has been perfect out of the gate.

It is an Aliens game. It feels like an Aliens game. What more do you want.

Surprisingly enjoyable game.

At first i thought it was just a zombie GTA with bikers. But then the story builds and builds and builds. I actually started caring for the characters, something that most games fail to achieve or try forcing down your throat. This game did it amazingly well, through good story telling. And the soundtrack is surprisingly fantastic too. There are a few story moments, where you are going from A to B and because of recent events the music just tugs at your heart and soul. Phenomenal soundtrack. And A+ voice acting. I actually feel emotion behind the dialogue. It isn't some script someone in a booth is reading. I actually believe it and feel it. Very well done.

I laughed. I cried. I raged. I danced.

Great game, Highly recommended.

A fun game. You live in a version of America where the government is "convincing" everyone that they are great. The president is the new messiah of awesome. Nobody has any personal liberties. It is your mission to get out of this crazy place before they make things worse.

Learn to be self-sufficient, living off the land and building your own survival bunker underground. Trade with other subversives to get needed materials as you work towards your ultimate goal. Before the government figures out what your up to.

Subnautica still holds a precious place in my heart. Below Zero aims to continue the story of Alterra and it's misadventures with the Kharaa. A beautiful frozen environment awaits, with many new creatures. It is terrifying to explore the deep dark ocean.

After being interested in what I saw on steam, I followed this up with some gamer reviews on Youtube.
Several notable game reviewers and let's play's later I was hooked.

Right off the bat, most basic functions were intuitive.
Movement was the standard WASD, I quicly figured out TAB opened my PDA, etc...
Off I went. Nearly drowning myself within a minute.
A few minutes later I got too close to something that didn't agree with my presence.
A few minutes after that I realised I needed some food.
And so my adventures in survival began.

Since then I made several mistakes in base design or venturing too far.
I still remember the time I stranded myself in my seamoth(minisub) at about 600 meters, at night and my sub ran out of power. I wont repeat the word I said.
But that is the sort of situation which captivates and maintains my enjoyment. You trully are responsible for your survival. Once you get a hang for how things go, you can quickly get a base going within 10 minutes. Have a minisub in less than an hour. But it is not a race. It is a sandbox experience to enjoy in all its beauty and depth. (pun)

As the game progresses you must venture away from the safety of shallow waters for materials.
The revamped Day/Night cycle and newer water graphics are breathtaking. Nighttime is both visually beautiful and terrifying. Daytime can be deceptively safe by comparison.

I eagerly await each major update and new content the developers add. Each time, I cannot resist diving deep into subnautica. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have so far.

Highly recommended, especially for what it will cost. If still unsure, give youtube a look.

Happy gaming!

A great adventure.
Visually enjoyable and with the right mix of puzzles and humor.
A great game. Looking forward to sequels.

Reminds me a little of Deponia series.
