Originally I gave a negative review (reviewed just after release; see below)

The game is in a good state now, it's genuinely fun, the writing, characters and art is great! Also the game loop is really fun. It's a bit of a shame that I had to wait so long for all those patches. In my new playthrough I experienced a few (cosmetic) bugs, however none of the bugs were game-breaking. This is acceptable. It feels like I am almost playing a completely different game than three years ago.

Annex of my original review:
I got scammed by CDPR. I can overlook the 5 breaking bugs that I've experienced in my playtime (and countless non-breaking bugs). I can also overlook the bad UI and loot mechanics. I did appreciate the writing at some parts and of course the art. But I cannot overlook the fact that most of the promised content and features were simply cut from the game. The fact that this was never mentioned once, especially not in the 'apology' video makes this 100x times worse. This is not about fixing some bugs in a patch, core features such as character & car customization, different appartments, train system, police AI, NPC AI (!) etc. Are missing from the game. The game is a buggy mess with a lifeless open world with nothing to do.
If you're looking for a revolutionary open-word game, play Read Dead Redemption 2. One of the best games I've ever played.
Anyways, 0:1 for you CDPR. I will never support your games again and will definitely never pre-order a game again.

Don't get me wrong, the game itself is amazing, but it keeps crashing for me in the second mission (going to the paint shop) on my brand new gaming PC (Geforce RTX 2070 Super + Ryzen 7 3700X). This really sucks and needs to be fixed! In this state I cannot recommend the game

Edit: Rolling back to older nvdidia driver fixed the problem for now (check community discussions for instructions)

Edit 2: Played the game about half a year later with latest Nvidia driver. First crashed again, then I set the game to Borderless Fullscreen in the display settings. Runs fine now!
