After a year of waiting with the utmost patience, I can confidently say that I am very disappointed in this game. I expected something huge here from VOID, but all I got was map changes, new guns and some new character models. I couldn't care less about the police station, the new one looks "better", but it's not something that I was overly ambitious about waiting a year for. For starters, the AI have not been changed in the slightest, it's the same mega-accuracy bulls*@# I experienced when the game first came out, so from that perspective we've moved backwards instead of forward. There's no new animations from the suspect and civilian AI, which is also very disappointing. The animations that were in the game aren't even present anymore due to the new update, which the devs have addressed and are (supposedly) working on. The campaign mode is absolutely atrocious, the new SWAT AI have superhuman senses or no sense at all, there really is no in-between, and that's quite frustrating. The map rework of Hotel (which was my favorite map in the game) is trash. They took a fantastic map, and completely ruined it by making it into this dark, compact map that has no character or interesting factors, its just some hallways, some hotel rooms and a lounge area. Finally, my friends are constantly experiencing crashes and glitches in this game, ruining the immersion and fun-factor of the game. Overall, I'm quite unhappy that this is what the 1.0 version of this game looks like. I understand AI is very difficult to get right, but that doesn't take away from the fact that a full release and a price increase is unacceptable for this version of the product.
