There is a lot of gameplay elements here and ways to play. If you are not happy with what is present then you can load it the tons of mods that are now available for this game. It is easy to sink lots of time into this game as there are many different aspects to explore. Do you make your colony a wondering raider group? Do you start out as a naked man on the ice cap and try to survive as the hermit psychopath that you are? So much potential and fun to be had.

No, it won't: Google: rimworld never on sale

Face it, it's a greedy developer.

Thankfully I don't seem to be missing out on anything after watching some videos, because this game doesn't look like a game, it feels more like work with all that boring micromanagement, and this poor (unfinished?) interface which looks at times more like a spreadsheet isn't helping either.

It will eventually go on sale at some point, just give it some time and be patient. You could have picked it up for cheaper before it came out of early access. Anyone can find games with more bang for buck out there if they look hard enough.

Too expensive, I can buy better games for less and unlike this game they actually go on sale during a Steam sale like this.
