Very fun city-builder/RTS with roguelike elements. It solves the problem I have with wanting to constantly restart games and optimise building placement.

A stellar FPS, maybe the best I've ever played. I didn't think much of it in screenshots and the trailers, and the style thing seemed a gimmick. But this game is the real deal. It could use some nicer keybinding options like multiple keys for weapons and allowing mouse scroll to bind to specific weapons only, but otherwise I can think of few improvements to the game. I thought DUSK and Amid Evil were great but this is a step above. The hype is justified.

Best minesweeper-like game I've played since Hexcells. Thoughtful UI and presentation. This deserves to be much better known.

This might be the best game ever for playing while listening to podcasts/audio-books/music (the soundtrack is nice too). It's very chill and self-paced for the most part. It is fun to mine and deal with the problems that physics throws at you. The initial learning curve with the controls and the numerous unexplained mechanics/UI features are a bit rough but it is well worth persisting that short time to overcome them. There are a few good Steam guides and the discord is very helpful.

This is criminally unknown and underrated. I have only really gotten started with this but it is already obvious to me. The only slight problem I find is that the controls feel a tiny bit clunky/antiquated, but it gets better with playtime.

Nonsensical controls. A tap of a directional key should move you one tile, but instead you have to hold it for a length of time to complete a move, and before completing the move, you're committed to it. This means it's absurdly easy to overstep in one direction and while that would be bad in any game, it is absurd in a puzzle game with exact movement required. I almost never post negative reviews FWIW.

Anti-war game devs donating 100% of their profits to help victims of war. This is how it should be. Real people are suffering what this game conveys, and worse. The review bombing is senseless.

Pretty fun, with clever streamlining of ARPG mechanics.

But I'm reviewing because of the review bombing in response to the dev's well-articulated and well-reasoned decision to temporarily increase the price in Russian rubles. No, the dev doesn't hate Russians, read the announcement properly. It also has nothing to do with political correctness. It's a plea to inform Russians what is happening to people in Ukraine because Russian state-run media won't.

The dev is donating 100% of proceeds to NGOs to help refugees, and you're negatively reviewing the game?

Underrated puzzle-roguelike, elegant mechanics.

Only a few challenging puzzles, and about 30-40 of the 100 puzzles were filler (solved with a single obvious move) and maybe another 10-15 were solved with two obvious moves.

Considering the price, I don't mind, but chess-based games REALLY need the ability to drag and drop pieces to move. Clicking twice for each move gets tedious very quickly.

Some puzzles later on have an important marker on some squares which often start obscured by pieces which is annoying.
