It's my favorite roguelike. I will admit, it being a TMNT game is a hefty part of that. That said, I like the subweapon mechanic, I like the music, I really like that losing feels like it's your fault and not the game being crappy. It's a solid base for a game, and I'm hoping they add more to it.

Not gonna lie, this is a nerd game. It's best on a tv with two people. You each take turns being the "Captain" and yelling "Divert power from main engines to shields! Target their med bay! Prepare to launch the away team once their med bay has been destroyed!" Then, you go to the Keurig, get it going, put the pod in, and say "computer, tea, Earl Grey, hot" while it's dispensing.

If you've played a Disgaea, it's a Disgaea game. If you haven't played a Disgaea game, they are pretty funny and have at least a laugh out loud thing every chapter. I suggest not sitting on the fence with this and grabbing a copy.

If I had known this had the Denuvo malware in it, I never would have bought it. Go for consoles instead.

Edit: No, for real, this is Firaxis' best game. You NEED to play this. Just buy it on console instead of on PC to avoid Denuvo. The game is made for controllers anyway.

It crashes a lot, but otherwise good. If you like the other Loathing games, you already own it.

Honestly, this is one of the most fun games out there. Also, unlike Saints Row 2, the port is actually good. I haven't had a crash yet.

CD Projekt Red should be ashamed of themselves for the quality of this port. Volition should as well. It needed to be fixed years ago, and not by people in their "spare time."

I'll be real. This one isn't great, especially for the price tag. It's not BAD, but the stories they focused on aren't the best. No Turn A, no X, no G, basically none of the fun ones. If you're a fan of Seed, then this is the game for you. If you're a fan of Wing, you get to see the alternate timeline units from Endless Waltz.

Basically, I'd recommend going for Super Robot Wars 30 instead or get a copy of G Generation Genesis on PS4/VITA. If you're REALLY interested, wait for a sale.

If you love mechs, this is the DREAM GAME. For so many years, it was impossible for this franchise to see the light of day in America without importing or bootlegging. The translation team could desperately use a writer ion staff to smooth some of the dialogue out, but it's still a fun game.

If you don't love mechs, but are into turn based strategy games, this is a fairly simple one. Some of the stages have fun little puzzles you can work out. I'd still recommend it, but don't go in expecting XCOM.

It's one of the best games of all time. While it qualifies as retro at this point, it still holds up very well.
