I don't say this too often, but... this was a surprisingly engaging idle game. It's a little more than click thing, number go brr. You start asking yourself "do I increase range so collections will go faster or hold up and double the acid so I can get a collapse?" or "I only have one of these things, but where do I spend it to maximize shards? Or wait, I do need more gnorps.... What I'm saying is there's a bit of strategy to what you buy, when you prestige and synergy to the different traits you can get. It's a "number go brr" game, but one with some thought you can put into your decisions. Kinda makes you feel like a proper manager of these lil Gnorps. :P

If you like idle games, I'd get this one. Even if you don't like idle games due to most of them being really shallow (like me), this one may surprise you...

Need. More. MULT. More MULTI-MULT. Need CHIPS.

Look, I'm already a jester enthusiast, but the craving for Mult is haunting me with that music that somehow never gets old. (I say as I'm purchasing the soundtrack as I type this.)

You like poker? How about rougelikes? Deck builders? Numbers that go brrr in a serious way? This game scratches an itch I didn't know I had. At first it's one game, soon it's 5 hours later and you're asking yourself at 3am "do I have time for one more?"

Seriously, this is a fun game. You might think $15 is a bit much for a poker game, but it's not any ordinary poker game. You'll have to trust the reviews on this one. :P

It's been a while since I 100% all achievements for a game and loved every moment. :D

Excellently done game about learning a civilizations languages and cultures and how they all co-mingle into a complete world. Give the demo a try. If you're intrigued just by that, as I was, you'll love this. :P I'd love to go into detail, but I won't risk spoilers even for a small amount of the game.

Oh yeah.... Ohhh yeah, this lil dude is worth it. If you're like me, you'll be hurting for water early on in the game or when you start farming, so having an extra helper is super great. :P Can also help with early game ore and relics and such. Also, they're super cute!

I mean, it starts off promising, but this'll be a pass.

First the good: the sense of speed is really something in this game. You'll be speeding at whatever the toy sized equivalent is of Mach 10 during the racing parts. It also feels really good when the tires are on the road, giving you plenty of grip to turn on a dime. The game has a lot of potential to is. The music and sounds are pretty good, too.

Now the bad: First thing... lemme ask you something: what's the one thing you want to do first in a racing game? ...Accelerate, right? So why is there a mechanic that makes you take your finger off the gas? I understand doing that to turn tighter, but the way the game works, as long as you're not flying through the air, you'll turn really easy, so there's never a need. The "battery" is literally an anti-fun mechanic there to slow you down, for some reason. (Unless the RNG gives you the battery powerup. Then you can recharge it like 2 or 3 times all the way and at once.)

Secondly, speaking of flying through the air, most of the things that you get hit with will send you flying in one way or another. God help you if it sends you up, because you'll likely end up off the track. When you do that, you have to manually reset your car, but it won't put you where you fell off. Nope, you go back to the last checkpoint you managed to hit. So it not only sends you backwards, you also now have to accelerate, which despite being able to go fast in this game, the acceleration isn't the best (which will make you hold the gas down, which the game punishes you for doing too much) On the flipside, you can use this to cheat in some of the bajillions of mini-games they've got going on. Like, if you get hit with the mortar and go flying way up in the air (which is unavoidable and not fun), you can cheat to snap right the frick back down.

The only other thing I've gotta say is that most of the tracks in this game... aren't actually racing. It's mostly mini-games. You'll be pushing balls into goals, dodging obstacles, throwing your car at a targets. Now, dodging is easy enough, just keep moving. The target mini-game was actually fun and easy to get used to. The ones that involve pushing things, though... no. The thing here is you'll be throwing yourself into reverse a lot to adjust your direction, but with how the camera is constantly fighting you, it's really hard to do so. (Also, side note, for the time trial tracks... why does the game give you offensive items when there's no one else racing?)

Anyways, I only got passed the first half of the game before I realized I'm just not enjoying this. It's a shame, because it started off good and it looked pretty fun, but man... maybe if half of the mini-games were just more racing bits, that would make the game a LOT better.

What's the genre for this kinda game...? Y'know, a game where you explore a world and collect some stuff along the way, but the main pull seems to be to find all it's secrets andtalk to all the people? I 'unno, Vinesauce seems to call 'em "egg-likes", so I usually go with that.

...Oh right. The game! This is a fun lil game. It's all about exploring, parkoring and leaving your graffiti tags all over the place. Art style is choice, the vibe is both industrial, but since you're basically a punk and everyone is on STRIKE, it's kinda fun just defacing company ads and collabing with other TAGGERs.

If you're up for a platformer, explore-em-up with a couple ease-of-access powerups along the way, this'll do it for ya.

Early Access Review
Hoooly crap. Maybe wait to buy this one. Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of potential. The visuals are nice, the mechanics are interesting... but as it stands, it's far too difficult to be enjoyable. I get you want to make a challenging game, but there's challenging, there's difficult and then there's borderline unfair. Why does the AI know where I am behind cover? Why does it fire immediately when I see them? Why do they take several shots, but I get mowed down in two? It's not fun to get to play for about a minute and then wait about 30-45 seconds for the game to generate another map.

Maybe I'll try it again later, but right now... oof. I'll go back to playing Into The Radius or something.

This game.... man... it's good. :D It's REALLY good and the devs are STILL updating it and making it a bit better every time.

Where do I begin? This is the first VR game where I was in a firefight that felt significant. The atmosphere is perfectly eerie with the only jumpscare you'll encounter is the sudden gunfire of an enemy calling you out on your hubris. The claustrophbia of hidden environmental hazards, each with their own way to detect and behavior. You know what my favorite part about this game is, though? It's a thing I can't say on a non-VR game... the reloading, as Revolver Ocelot says, is exhilarating. It's not about throwing your magazine away and spawning in a fresh one without losing a bullet. No, this game makes you keep track of every magazine and bullet. You throw it away, that's a lotta cash down the drain and no way to fight later. I know this is a weird thing to praise a game on, but there's something special about a game (that I think can only be done proper in VR) that makes you consider when to reload your empty magazines and if you're unprepared for that one enemy that suddenly come around a corner, that's why you have your sidearm to back you up. I've never had a game make me HAVE to quickly switch to my sidearm and save my own life like that.

In short, it's a special kind of tense gameplay that makes you have to really consider what you're doing and with an eerie feeling (which, by the by, I love the theme of this game. It's like... time and space enemies or something. It's great!) You must manage your equipment and loadout or the enemy will take you in seconds. If you like survival games, this is a go to for anyone with VR. STRONG recommend. I'm eager to see more content. :D Maybe DLC? PLEASE DLC. My money is ready. Also, if multiplayer comes out for this, I can see having a blast with increased enemy numbers and health, each player sporting specialized loadouts and all that. That'd be siiiick. :D

The game is extremely simple... you jump, you echo and you collect. That's it... yet, it's addictive! The music is super, for one. For two, there's... something charming about a game that has a dedicated "palette change" button, of which you buy and unlock over time. I think the reason why such a simple game is so charming is the aesthetics both visual and audio. (Seriously, I could watch that shopkeeper animation over and over. :P ~WELCOME~")

But yeah, apparently there are bosses in this, according to the screenshots. I'm already having a great time, so really... I can already recommend it. :D First stage music is living rent free in my head and I'm loving it.

I mean... I'll be honest, it works. It's playable, but... it gets old really quick. I do like that you can kinda zoom accross the level with some well times unboxeseses, but I'd rather the game actually challenge you to platform proper. The moves are jump, move, butt slam and unbox, which is a mid-air jump in the cost of one health... that's it. :U The levels are open world things that involve collecting this and popping a switch that. Doesn't help that the physics feel like you're constantly on ice. The characters are bland, the story is bland, the music is... okay, It's all just... bland. I feel kinda bad saying that, but there are far better 3D platformers out there to spend my time on. Even if it were cheaper at half price, I can't recommend it.
