unironically the most fun space exploration game out there right now.

theres a billion things to do, see, mine, explore, fight, etc. and the planet generation (even if there is repetitive assets used for all the flora, fauna, landscapes etc.) is nothing but impressive, especially for over a billion stars in multiple galaxies.
the small secrets by doing specific things is also nothing but fantastic, getting your own freighter for free, scavenging a destroyed freighter for loot, encountering very rare objects, its really really fun.
the immersion is flawless, although having the dialog and story be in first person feels a bit strange at times.
gameplay loop(s) are also really great, like i said there are a billion things to do with a billion different stars to visit.

with a game this big, bugs can occure, but none of them have really stood out as game breaking or ruining the game to the extreme, its usually just small graphical bugs or wonky hitboxes, which is completely excusable with the huge scale of this game.

the only major issue i have with the game is that the rng can be a bit grueling at times. sometimes an upgrade can give you almost no extra boost for a tier that should give you a significant advantage and searching for specific things like a high tier freighter or very specific materials can be a bit annoying, but even then it doesnt really affect the core gameplay and is completely optional to do if you aren't a completionist, which is what the game is supposed to be.

id also like if the game had more of a realistic approach with how the planets are placed around the solar system. obviously its done this way to prevent complexity, but having planets this close to each other and constantly changing the sun around feels wrong to me.
