Like many of the titles I have picked up, it really works best with those who have some kind of relationship to the experience. I had one person with a fear of "dropping" shouting for a chair the second she realized she was on a roller coaster climbing up a skyscraper. She closed her eyes during the drop but was okay for the rest of the ride.

Another enjoys coasters in real life but was also thrown off by the unrealistic height of the first drop and freaked a bit on the way down.

Good for a quick experience.

Simple fun that is a great addition to the games you break out when you have first timers over. Everyone has played at least a few of these carnival and arcade games so it is easy for anyone to relate to.

Feels oddly nice to play, even if you suck at it. I never played real ping pong until after I played it in VR and was surprised by how natural it felt to me after some VR practice.

I hope they add some more environments because the one it ships with is pretty attractive to look at.

After having the Vive for a month and using it daily, this game was still able to make me nervous during my first try. I have no fear of heights but it took me thirty seconds to build up the courage to step off the plank. Great for a quick demo for first timers. I am going to get a 2x6 next time I make someone do it. Having carpet takes away from the experience.

Don't buy this if you are expecting something with a lot of replayability that you can sink 20 hours into. If you have company over often, it is worth the couple bucks. It is worth it even more if you have a friend who is afraid of heights...

EDIT 08/30/2017
Cycled through 25+ co workers through the plank. Some wouldn't leave the elevator and immediately closed the doors and hit ground floor, some got out half way and had to baby step in reverse back to safety, some danced on the plan without fear before stepping off, and one jumped off when she came face to face with a big spider near the elevator door.

Continues to be one of my "go to" titles for newbies once I get them used to VR in more relaxed titles.

Extremely entertaining for a free game.

EDIT: I am 20 hours in and still having fun. Looks like I bought a Vive to play a free game every day. Experience varies based on active playerbase. Sometimes you get stuck with duds and sometimes you find people who are fun.

Paintball, charades and dodgeball are a ton of fun.

EDIT: Had to break from all non-work related activities for over a month. Returned to update this after launch Rec Room for the first time in a while and playing the newly added co-op theater gamemode. I didn't think Rec Room could get any more impressive for a free game but I was proven very, very wrong. Most fun I have had in a long time with three random VRers.

One of the most immersive VR "experiences" I have had so far with the Vive and it only lasted 10 minutes. Will be a great introduction for friends who don't know what to expect from the Vive. I was waiting for a shark attack but maybe another time.

EDIT 8/30/2017
The more I put VR newbies into The Blu, the more I feel like it is a little too slow. The whale one is perfect but the other two drag on a little too long before something happens. Feel like there isn't enough to admire while waiting for the jellyfish or squid.

Everyone asks "oh no is there going to be a shark?!" and I always have to tell them no, sadly there isn't. Needs a shark somewhere.
