Fallout 1 is amazing, fun, humorous, complex, challenging and overall; an amazing Fallout entry worth playing - the birthplace of the series.

As previously mentioned, having started the series personally with Fallout 3, then NV, then 4... I am absolutely mind-blown at how much fun Fallout is. The writing, the characters, the gameplay... It's all awesome.

The only difficulty I had was the UI. It took me some time to learn the user interface. Now that I have that nailed down, the game is VERY fun. I used this video to learn how to use the UI, and so I would highly recommend giving this video a go first.

I would also recommend doing some research on a search engine to get some opinions from other Fallout veterans on the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system. If you ever have questions on perks, levelling, locations, etc; there is an abundance of knowledge online to assist you.
