This will be the first serious review I make. Perhaps the only one.

While I adore this game for its insane atmosphere and presentation, making it probably the single best 40K game in terms of presentation, I cannot by any means recommend this game because of the developers focus. The gameplay is fun and very satisfying. There's quite a grind to actually get things that you want, but I personally find it very managable, and not at all too tedious. What bothers me however, is how the beta for this game not only ran better, but was much more stable as well. The game runs LAUGHABLY poorly even on machines with modern hardware. I run a 1070 and an i7 processor myself which is by no means powerful. But to be able to run the game at sometimes less than 35 FPS with DLSS turned on is insanely poor optimization.

But now for the big kicker. Fatshark is owned by Tencent, and it shows. They did say they were going to put premium currency cosmetics in the game, and in itself, that's fine. The game is not full-priced either. But to prioritize this store to be available on release with the problems that plague the game, as well as not pushing back crafting and private lobbies to after release in favor of this store, which by the way, has the typical disgusting "business model" of pricing all the packs at just slightly above the medium currency package, just to nudge you to buy the more expensive pack, which in turn, leaves you with just enough to not buy another one, making it an evil circle of "Maybe Ill buy one more pack". Not to mention the fact that the cosmetics are on a 9 day timer, adding a big added effect of FOMO. This was NOT a problem in Vermintide 2, which shows all of the cosmetics in a nice tidy window with fine prices. Why they would reverse back into this limited time ♥♥♥♥ is obvious.

I received this product as a gift and I have enjoyed myself a lot. I will definitely keep playing it as the core game is very satisfying and HOPEFULLY they will improve the game with time. But as a -product- this is not consumer friendly.

Edit: As soon as I finished writing this I also found out that there's no cross-play between Steam users and Game-Pass owners. Like, come the ♥♥♥♥ on. Jesus.

Probably the single best VR game to date. Unfortunately it also makes all the other VR games look and feel like garbage.

An absolute must have if you have any VR headset.

Incredibly terrible regarding optimization. 20 FPS on lowest with a brand new modern PC build. Would not recommend at all.
