After the dead bodies piled up in my city
I built an entire district with 8 or 9 cemetaries.
Then, I threw down a mass of cremeatoriums when they filled up
and named the district "The Burning Hells".
Now my city is completely run off the electricity generated
by an unlimited supply of bodies that keep coming in.

My mother walks into the room and complements me
for my choice of family-friendly game,
not realizing that I've become some kind of genocidal neo-Hitler.

10/10, Would Necropolize Again.

I feel the anger and fury well up inside me. In an explosion of hatred, I lash out at the terrible, unforgiving, cruel world shrivelling outside my door in its fetid carcass. The screams of my victims echo in the halls of a school as my bloodlust clouds my vision. My hail of lead mows down women, cops, and ethnicities indiscriminately. No redemption this time. No hope. None are left alive. In the bloody wake, I wash my hands of the reckoning I have bestowed.

Then I get home and realize Hatred has just been released.

It's a pretty fun & stylish - if woefully conventional - shoot-em-up, and after only a few minutes it's managed to tame the psychotic beast in me. I can feel the urge to kill subsiding as I take my unbridled fury out upon my virtual victims instead. I've also gained enough concentration and self-control from playing to graduate with an MBA (Different school, silly <:D).

9/10 for distracting the media from my ridiculous murder rampage,
but I'm docking a point for releasing too late to save them all.

I'd like to preface this by saying this is a very good game despite having several flaws and balancing issues, which I want to outline below. The art style and animations are gorgeous, there are a lot of cool production chains, and it pretty much covers what you'd expect from a Zeus/Caesar/Pharoah type game except built for modern platforms.

Concerns & Issues:
- I've experienced a crash-to-desktop once so far midway through the first mission of the campaign. This issue may have been fixed with the most recent patch, but I haven't yet tested to be sure.
- Tutorial messages don't come back once closed. Not sure if there is a way to re-open the most recent instruction. If there is, I didn't see it or it wasn't obvious to me.
- Import/Export prices are way too low imo. Building complex production chains to try to make a global profit is chump change compared to taxes for most goods (4190 in taxes vs 312 for exporting maximum bread). Adding up the wages (1 pop at 2 coins at the normal salary, the total cost to make bread comes out to around 20 coins per 100 and sells for 17 coins per 100 (which should come out to 544 (17 * 32) but displays as 312 on the balance screen for some reason?!?! Still very low). Why would I ever sell bread to the outside world for less than it costs to make it? On top of the capital investments & space usage in infrastructure and the trade route opening cost? Maybe I'm not doing it right, but it seems to me that the better way to play the game is to be tax-focused, produce the minimum amount necessary to sustain the pop, and use trade only to get goods you can't get otherwise at the moment.
- Many aspects of the game are not explained and can be inherently confusing. i.e. Despite using "Keep", which I assume is supposed to retain a quanity of a good up to a certain amount (maybe?), stuff still seems to get taken from my reserves. Does "Get" interfere with the regular distribution of goods to houses? I don't feel I have a sense of control over what aspects of my economy get exported/imported, what get used by the populace, what get used for production, and what get stored in reserve. Having more control over that would be useful. Having statistics on production/consumption of items by raw material usage, exporting/importing, population usage, etc. would be dope as well. Finding buildings associated with a production chain can be a little difficult to pin down if you don't already know what and where they are in the menus.

It's fun as-is insofar, but I fear that I'm going to run into more stability issues as I go along. You may want to wait for an update to adress some of these issues, and issues that others are having.

Edit: An update has now been released that addresses some of these issues. The above has been corrected to account for these changes, removing the translation errors and the tribute not saving issue.

Will give inconceivable amounts of legit virtual cryptocurrency for some ADHD meds, a copy of GTA V, and my life back.
