the pov puzzles are too hard for my 2 overworked brain cells but its a fantastic game

very nice, hate when bosses spawn inside me without taking me out to dinner first but I can manage

So this game is back after a year or so, supposedly a full release now and it's more unfinished than it was before. How can that be, you ask? Well someone had the bright idea of REMAKING the game from scratch on a newer engine. The full release ended up removing more features than it added, and the launch trailer character reveals have not all been added on release. The gameplay itself feels slower and different indeed, it feels like they tried to tackle some of the big issues the game used to have but in the process accidentally made the game feel sluggish without actually battling the root of the problems. The meta is still pretty much the same with some characters that actually changed tiers but the S tier characters remained the same, except for the addition of banana guard to the S tier lineup. Finn still feels awful to play against, and so does a half decent batman. I still hate wonder woman but that's probably just because im bad at the game.
Also the parry system is one of the best new features, but it feels bad to try and use it often as some of the hitbox (and some lag) issues are still present in the game. Some attacks for example might hit you before they should have, throwing off your parry timing.

Pretty great game. Lots of footwork to be done but its really fun even just travelling when you're with friends, thanks to the great scenery supplied both by the base game itself but also from the amazing and well supported modding community.
