If you loved Frostpunk you're going to probably love this as well.

Ixion is basically Frostpunk in space with a bigger map (so you have more area to build), more story but less focus on the moral implications of your actions. Its a really fun game in my opinion for those who love the city building/colony sim genre and also want a little bit of a story line to go with it. In my opinion its a great and innovative addition to the City Building and Colony Sim list of games.

However, despite all its caveats, Ixion is a game with a lot of annoyances. The game often somewhat buggy and laggy when you tab in and out. Whats also annoying is that despite creating the game in such a large map and area, everything is micromanaged, which makes it really annoying to control certain parts of the map. For example, you want to stop ships from going to certain resource deposits, you need to click and toggle off each individual resource deposit manually, which is frankly really annoying. The game is also much less forgiving than Frostpunk, meaning that you're likely going to snowball into a restart really quickly if you don't know what you're doing.

That being said, if you can ignore the issues above, Ixion is a great city builder that has an amazing story line, captivating exploration and classic colony sim/city builder premises that will entertain you for around 30 hours.

The game is a breeding ground for toxicity, no function to mute emotes, no function of just tryna play casually. If you wanna get harassed by people online, download this game to fuel your masochistic desires.

Who doesn't love a game where you can force your tenants to give you profits from their meth business?

There really isn't any other game like this. Something so grueling yet so meaningful and fun is hard to come by even in books themselves. The writing of this game truly allows you to understand the true extent and importance of your actions upon yourself and those around you - even after being given prompts that tell you the consequences. Regardless of whether or not you feel that you have a sense of purpose in life, The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante will give you a path to follow - whether it be of suffering or greatness.

Its good until you realise that some champions are better than others and the bugs can be game breaking.

YOU CAN JUST TAKE OUT A NITRO CELL AND JUST 9/11 SPAWN PEEK THE OPPOSING ATTACKERS.

Personally defense is much less of a thrill than offense. Offense has the pressure of seeking out enemies and punishing roaming defenders. If you wanna excel at this game, you gotta think like a madman. Crazy ♥♥♥♥ is what makes this game cool and playing with friends is 9.6/10 from me. Playing by yourself can also be fun. I'd give it 9/10 that way mostly because of how friendly and cooperative people can be but jesus christ they can be stupid and toxic. The new UI in the operator selection screen helps you to pick your weapons more easily as well as understanding the operator and their gadgets. Overall, 9.5/10 from me. Very fun and if you do pick this ♥♥♥♥ up just 9/11. There is no other reason not to do so (don't do this in ranked).
