To say this game is a disappointment is not harsh enough. This game is multiple steps backward for the Civ series. Instead of taking what worked in Civ 5 and improving on it, they destroyed it and created a game with less strategy, less control and a slight improvement in graphics quality. If you don't own Civ 5, buy that instead, save money and enjoy a game that is much much better. My hope is they will realize how bad Civ 6 is, go back to Civ 5 and improve on the AI, graphics and increase the ability to engage in diplomacy (one thing Civ 6 does right) as well as improvements in empire management. There are aspects of Civ 6 that would work better as an improvement on Civ 5, but the downsides far outweigh the few improvements Civ 6 has.
