Tons of exploration, challenging boss fights, interesting dungeons, pretty terrain to traverse, etc. Equal parts frustrating and rewarding. First souls-like and I've had tons of fun with it. If you've been turned off by the genre before, give this one a shot. I doubt you'll regret it if you enjoy action RPGs. Oh but for new players you may want to make notes about questlines because the game does not keep track of those for you. It's kind of silly but I kinda like not having a menu full of side-quests stressing me out.
