At the moment, this game isn't finished but from what i've played (To Oceanus):

The core gameplay is really cool with how the weapons work, really excited to see more out of it.
The movement is lacking and feels relatively slower than Hades I.
The enemies themselves are really cool mechanically and design wise.
The bosses are really fun and very tense at the moment.
The OST is great at the moment, definitely not hitting like the first one so far though.
The artistic direction is AMAZING. Genuinely one of the coolest looking games out there.

I can say a lot more at the moment, but I am sure I do not feel alone when saying: The movement is really lacking as of right now, I feel like the sprint mechanic is a cool idea and would love to see more develop into it, but what made me love the original was how fast paced the movement was, even at the start. So if my review is anything to help: (Saying this after beating the 1st area boss, so correct me if im wrong) All I ask is to have faster movement speed early on. It feels really slow to me, but the rest of the game is amazing, keep it up and i'm excited for full release!!

P.S: Thank you Supergiant Games for being an amazing company and listening to your fanbase. A lot of the things from Hades I that shouldve been added or tweaked have been optimized in Hades II so far. Amazing development. <3

This is easily one of the best games ive EVER played

For a free game, this game is a must-play. Amazing bullet-heaven game and the fact its HoloLive is awesome.

Singlehandedly, this is the best game I have ever played. It's also not even close too, its so beyond any other game its insane. Please play this if you haven't, you will be blown away.
