Short Description:
Warframe game where Sci-Fi Themed Ninjas called Tenno fight against several enemies within factions of which have certain strengths and weaknesses.
Tenno are essentially the Mind or Conscious which Operates the Warframes which are essentially the Characters which you will mainly use to do combat.
There is a good sense of parkour in the game too, you jump, bullet-jump, slide, roll, crouch, holding aim slows down your descend and perception of time kinda, there is lots going on.
The World of Warframe is still expanding and its story expends along with it via Free Expansions or Big Updates.
Warframe is one of the few games where the developers and publisher are the same (Digital Extremes) and do not require the player to spend real world money unless they really want to, they deliver free and semi-consistent updates with good content included,
the game has few restrictions that can be bought via the in game premium currency however this currency is able to be traded between players and there are means by which to obtain certain digital goods in order to exchange for the in game premium currency (Platinum) with other players.

Warframe's Limitations are however fair in the sense that everyone has them and there is no competition per say, it is a co-op game mainly with PvE elements.

There are currently more than 38+ Warframes to choose from each with a standard and a prime version that comes later on for them.
Each Warframe has 3 main Abilities and 1 Ultimate Ability, each warframe has its own unique set of Abilities which change your gameplay experience in certain ways.

There are plenty of skins from Digital Extremes to purchase by using platinum or you can choose from the big collection of community-created skins and/or helmets via steam.

There are plenty of Weapons to choose from, consisting of Main, Sub and Melee as well as Pets/Sentinels. There is a huge collection of weapons currently in the game, each with their own unique quirks.

There is a Unique System in game called Modding where you collect Mods (They Look Like Cards) and upgrade them, there are hundreds of mods to collect and choose from, each augmenting your Warframes, Weapons and Vehicles in different ways, effectively changing how they play out, e.g. having a weapon with increased fire-rate or specific elements in it.
There are 4 Elements in Warframe in the form of either stats or/and mods, depending on which elements are embended you create a different effect, each duo of elements creates another element, you should check the wiki for more information.
There is a lot of Room for messing around and experimenting!

Crafting plays a big role in the game, players are able to craft items by using the item's blueprints and/or components.

While Warframe does an Okay Job in providing the necessary information to new players, there is still a huge chunk of valuable information missing which can be easily accessed via community wikis online.
Lately Digital Extremes Implemented Riven Mods as well, they are essentially Mods with out fixed % rates of modification and without pre-fixed stats, basically they give random augmentations to the weapon they are supposed to be modded to.
This was a genius idea because we essentially have the ability to create a unique weapon set depending on which random stats we got in our weapons. They are not rare to find, certain ones which are considered "meta" are also very expensive.

The economy in Warframe is very solid however there is no In-Game Auction House/Marketplace, however there are community-websites where players can easily post their items or check for items and who sells them, then they just copy-paste the seller's name and can communicate in game for trades.
There is also Maroo's Bazaar where people can stand there showing their items as well as Trade Chat of course.

No matter how much time you have been away from the game, your account will remain viable, maybe some new items or warframes will come out however the already obtained items should always remain viable. If you are deep in the game and have already lots of things collected and decide to come back after a few months the game will still be the same in that sense you will not need to farm for anything specifically in order to caught up unlike other games, even paid games.

Generally Digital Extremes has implemented specific modes to farm specific resources in order to prevent issues with spamming maps and creating frustration, to avoid that they simply optimize how and where we farm specific resources instead of destroying the farm.

The game has Clans as social guilds/hubs where players can be invited inside a clan which is necessary in order to obtain certain blueprints as well. It is generally hard to build a clan from scratch however if players feel like they have enough people who are willing to contribute their currency for the cause then by all means, go ahead.

Warframe has lots of activities to keep players busy for extended periods of time, the game is Mainly a collecting game, there are hourly Alerts, Daily Sortie Missions (3 Missions), syndicate missions (its like reputations but passively earned and optional).

There is the Star-Chart (Navigation Map) which has plenty of missions to complete, there are also Story Quests!
Digital Extremes has also Started Implementing new areas which can be considered Open-World, however they are still instanced with the feeling of going outdoors in a big map. The Developers are always open to new ideas, they are listening and trying their best to make the game as good and fun as possible.

You also have your Mastery Rank which is the average of the total unique experience earned while leveling up warframes, weapons, vehicles and so on, it basically shows how much you have collected and mastered in the game.

Finally the Community is Great overall, rarely encountering problems and the vibes are generally very positive.

Personal Thoughts and Summary, the game is great, the gameplay is fun and there is lots of room for experimentation, it is grindy in a good way meaning if you want to burn some hours there you can but they will not be wasted. The game is rewarding, the monetization feels fair if you know what you are doing, movement in game feels great, enemies can be challenging after a while (difficulty increases as time goes on generally), interesting, visuals are good, there are plenty of things to choose from such as warframes, weapons etc. This game is one of if not the best free PC Game I have discovered so far.
You will get many good hours from this game, it is free so why not give it a good try already.
The Game makes you feel like a God.

I want to close this Review by saying that if you are the type of person who really wants to get everything in game (besides steam community skins) for free, then by all means you can do so.
This is What I have done and has worked out Well Enough, the game does not make you feel like you must spend money, it only makes you feel like you ought to (because its so good).
Honestly though, you dont have to. You can get everything necessary for free.

See that Prime Access down here? Yes, that, you can get that in game, it will take a bit of time but it is easily obtained so do not get intimidated, the devs even ask from the community on how to essentially bundle those things.
If you want to look cool and support the developers they by all means go for it~

Have Fun ;)

EDIT: Now after so many years of playing the game all I have to say is that the game is progressing pretty well, especially for the accessibility it has (its F2P), the developers constantly make improvements and changes which they later refine in accordance to players feedback. They are more active lately and more open to feedback from the community, they sometimes make changes that players did not expect and then improve on them as much as they can.
