simply superb game

Updated Review May 2025: First and foremost, the added LAS servers which allows playing, before it was imposible.
Matchmaking has been improved in solo queue at least. solid player base hope it grows soon, such great game deserves it, specially after listening to the comunity and making things right,

The game is good, but at its current state it's hard to see the good side. Matchmaking is atrocious, making some games very frustrating, this results in salty AFK people.
Where I live in South America we get 120 ping on a lucky day, this makes playing as a carry impossible, also it lags hard on team fights.
Also, there are a LOT of people with disconnection errors.
The gameplay itself is Good, better than paragon even but because of the current problems it is unplayable to me, maybe if you live in EU or USA and got lucky with errors and don't care about the matchmaking you may have some fun.
For now, it's time to uninstall until full release at least.

I played paragon until it was shut down, this promises to deliver what paragon denied us, but... BUT... even for a beta, some poor choices were made.
First and most important, WHY is draft pick the default option for casual? That is insane for a game in beta. Even worse, you get banned when failing to pick a PJ several times ... in a casual match, that's madness.
It should be blind pick while in beta or until a proper rank system is in place.

Secondly there are so many things missing that can be solved with a splash screen at least: when winning/losing, on surrender and many other situations where you are presented whith a menu in a blunt way that leaves you wondering for a second WTF happened.

I won't say anything about the bugs or crashes since it's beta and shuch issues are expected.

This game shuld still be in alpha, its' full of bugs, rubberbanding at the start of the map is unbearable, on top of that there's a someone cheating every other match.
What is worse this has been a trend for a while now and Bluehole does nothing to mitigate or punish cheaters severely in order to disengourage cheating.

Bottomline: still broken game, full of cheaters and the developer does nothig to adress it.

2021 update. Game has improved a LOT. Only a few bugs left but nothing game breaking. Still full of cheaters though.


Agüita is life

Worst controls ever, it's NOT intuitive at all. just to sail or to understand what to do you have to search for tutorials online.

$60 is a pretty steep price to pay for a beta. Because that's what this is, only a beta.

Maybe 1 year from now it will be a RTM after 200 patchs.
