Fantastic live action vn. Just know that there is no explanation but you have to go back and complete certain routes in order to unlock the next chapters and theres no advice on what options you have to choose.

That aside, there are some beautiful moments, and the endings are amazing.

Great game that combines deck building and card gameplay with what is basically league of legends and team management.

Very fun to play, and easy to learn.

I'm a huge 40k fan - mainly back from playing the tabletop as Space Wolves back in my younger years.

Having enjoyed WOTR I thought this could be a decent game since it was set in the 40k universe, but I was not prepared for just how good it would be both gameplay and story wise.

I started playing it ages ago and quickly gave up on it due to not clicking with the combat, but once I picked it up again recently after seeing some videos on it, I had a lot more fun. If it doesn't click with you, bear with it! Once you start chaining buffs, debuffs and throwing out extra turns, it gets a lot more fun.

Story wise, it's the best 40k game I have ever played, hands down. Sure, act 3 drags on a bit and act 4 has some parts that don't seem fully finished, but other than that the story kept me hooked to the point where I was spending a few days playing 10 hours straight.

Your choices matter a lot in the game too, giving you access to not only different conversations, but also skills and companions, and the dialogue choices really made me think at some points.

Great ending too, wrapping everything up based thoroughly on the choices and conversations you had throughout the game.

10/10, Owlcat really knocked it out of the park. If you have even a passing interest in warhammer and/or 40k then you owe it to yourself to try this.

Final words: Glory to Fenris!

Disclaimer: I only play quickplay, not ranked so this is a review based on that.

I'm not a huge fan of fps or competitive games, but I play some valo and apex. This game, made by ex battlefield devs, is pretty enjoyable. There's a couple of game modes, hold the platform and cashout (which is what i play) where basically you retrieve a randomly spawning box and cash it out in what is effectively a control point.

There are three "classes" to choose from, light medium and heavy, which come with their own movement speeds and a huge amount of weapons and gadgets to unlock.

One of the most fun parts of the game is that every building and structure in the game can be destroyed, either with randomly spawning items in each map, or by certain weapons/gadgets. This leads to some suprisingly strategic gameplay when it comes to accessing a point a team is holding.

I play it most days and its a lot of fun to play, and it helps that the game has a wealth of dress up items too, which I am a huge fan of!

Downsides;

Battlepass feels very, very long to get the end, although you do have a lot of time to complete it
Leavers and AFKers are a big problem, at least in unranked, theres no penatly for it and it happens a fair amount, leading to giga unbalanced games
Sometimes it feels devs are retroactive in nerfing things instead of proactive leading to sweaty meta players (nature of the genre I guess)
On some maps its VERY easy to fall off the edge and die (this could just be a boomer issue)

All of the above said, I do enjoy it, and its a fun game to play.

I have never played any of the BlazBlue games, so don't let that stop you from trying this gem.

A Dead Cells like roguelike, it comes with light fighting game crossover controls, such as dodges, dashes, up/down attacks, air attacks, specials and combos.

With quite a few different characters to choose from, each with their own distinct fighting style, there is something for everyone.

Each run you get to choose different upgrades, like a traditional roguelike - these range from upgrades to your attacks adding either new moves or combo/skill moves, to adding light, dark, fire, poison or lighting effects to your attacks, skills and legacy effects.

Legacy effects? Yes. Every time you complete a run, you choose 2 effects to attach to that character for either a) the next run, or b) to take with a new character on a fresh run.

You can take up to 2 legacy characters with you on each run, and you gain access to their legacy effects, along with their specials too, making for some crazy fun and wild builds.

Highly recommend if you are a fan of roguelikes and as I said at the start, don't worry if you haven't played any BlazBlue games before.

If you are a fan of games like Her Story, Immortality and older classic sega cd/dreamcast/saturn fmv type games (think Mad Dog Mcree etc), you will love this.

There are a few places where it will take a bit of thinking to get to connect the dots and catch people out, which is made a little tougher by it being only their own statements that you can use, despite hearing other things that contradict them from other people.

Quite a bit of the acting is GOOFY AH but it was very enjoyable and a great murder mystery.

A fantastic, if short, game.

If you liked Inside and/or Limbo, you will probably love this too.

A mix of 2d side scrolling gameplay with some cool mechanics and first person puzzle parts, the game works well and has a fantastic story. Without spoiling too much imagine if The Truman Show got crossed with Limbo.

I enjoyed every minute of the game, and the story is compelling and interesting throughout.

I would also like to give a big shoutout to the Les Miserables nod with Javert and some of his dialogue!

10/10 game. With that said, there are many callbacks to the original game, so I highly recommend you play that first - although not essential.

It's very short - completed my first runthrough in just over 5 and a half hours, but even with that said, the narrative, story telling, music and gameplay were absolute perfection.

As someone who loves story based games (Wolf Among Us, Detroit, Heavy Rain, Quantum Break etc) this game ticked all the boxes, and gave me a for the moon vibe with the artstyle and music choice.

If you like more sedately paced games with great stories and conversation choices that matter, I highly recommend buying this.

Early Access Review
Played a ton on mobile, shame you cant link accounts to steam. Very reminiscent of artifact, but super fun to play, especially with the random lane buffs/debuffs.

Fantastic game, and the music is amazing!

Very reminiscent of Muse Dash, while having a different vibe, aesthetic and better music (imo).
