I have played Timberborn off and on for a couple years in early access. I am glad to see they have finally reached the full launch, this game is very addicting and I will continue to play it for years to come.

It is a unique setting and pretty novel gameplay. Managing and building a city has been done in a lot of games, but the additions of water management and being able to build on top of other buildings is really engaging and fun.

You are able to customize the difficulty in many different ways, from punishingly hard to creative mode. I can't say enough about how fun it is and how much creative control you have in building your beaver city and taming the landscape.

Laysara is a fun game that starts out simple but builds up in complexity as you play. The basic gameplay loop is similar to the Anno-series, you build supply chains to satisfy the needs of the different tiers of citizens on our mountain settlements. If you like that series, this will satisfy a very similar itch.

The setting is pretty unique, I can't think of another city-builder or any game in this setting. The mountain really comes alive as you build and the art style is really cute. It is fun to simply stop and watch everything as your settlements get more complex.

If you love city-builders, Anno 1800 is an absolute must-play. The production chains are seriously addictive—starting with simple farms and slowly building up to massive factories feels super rewarding. Every little part of your economy connects in a way that makes expansion feel natural and satisfying.

The DLCs make the game even better. The New World expansions add so much depth, turning it into more than just an early-game resource hub. And Enbesa? The irrigation system and unique culture make it one of the most interesting regions in the game. If you enjoy deep strategy and watching your cities grow into industrial powerhouses, this game will hook you for hours.

Steamworld Build is an gem of a game, offering a new take on the building genre. The game's focus on resource management and strategic planning keeps you engaged. It combines city building like the Anno series, and mining/tower defense below the city. My main gripe is that the build order is pretty static for the city, while the mines allow more variaton on how to tackle issues. It is a fun game but doesn't have unlimited replayabilty like the Anno series.

It is a overall fun game. It is not groundbreaking at all, but I enjoy playing it. It is a Bethesda game, with the good and bad that comes with that.

Great sequel to the original game. The backbone of the game's systems has really been improved and expanded upon. There is much more depth to the simulation now. Also loving that there are actual seasons in game, really makes the city feel alive. Runs good for me with a recommended card, just had to turn the setting to medium.

Fun game with a interesting mix of base building, story and other elements. Plays a lot like Frostpunk meets Homeworld. The game can be difficult (no difficulty slider) but I did not find it to be overly punishing.

Amazing game, really feels complete with all the DLC. Fun mix of RTS, and puzzle-like gameplay compared to earlier iterations of the series. The amount of different civilizations and leaders is great and really helps you switch up your playstyle. Tons of mods available as well to expand playtime even further.

I have played a lot of these type of simulation games, and this was is well done and feels complete. The art style is polished, the gameplay is engaging and it gets progressively harder as you continue in the campaign. There are a few things that could be improved, the foremost is that there is no way to save a room design or copy an existing one. This leads to you building the same room many times, which is not so fun. I would recommend Two Point Hospital to anyone who loves sim games, it is a welcome addition.

Very fun game, similar to Banished in terms of difficulty and how you go from nothing to a thriving colony/city. It does have some balance issues but the devs have plans/patches on the way to hopefully fix those. There is already plenty of content right now to keep me entertained, the semirandom technologies and different mysteries supports replayability since there will be a sense of randomness in not knowing what is coming next.
