I played this a bit when it came out only to revisit it recently. I forgot how effective the look is, with the low poly environment on the left side of the screen and the detailed faces on the right. Your contorted expressions are the obvious selling point mechanic but there's much more to the cleverness of "Who's Lila"s design. Each path is short, around 20 - 30 minutes a pop, and each branch is quite different from the others. The process of unraveling the game's secrets gets esoteric to the extent that you'll just need a guide at some point in order to see everything, but thats not necessary in order to "get the point". Just trying different expressions at each conversation will get you a lot of mileage, but you'll need to be attentive to the dialogue as well. Regardless, great faces to see (that second detective!), unsettling and occasionally goofy meta mystery, and unique at the level that everyone should try this out at some point. I really liked it!

If you want to play this on a Steam Deck, try setting the resolution to 1280 x 800. That should fix most issues.

Just from my initial experience with it, I think Moon Hunters rules a lot. Imagine Diablo synthesized with The Yawhg into a short-form, choose your own adventure/action game dealing with legend and mythology. The game has a fantastic art style and I've particularly enjoyed the music, which just so happens to have been done by the same duo behind The Yawhg's great soundtrack. Can't really say much else about it yet, but I'm really looking forward to playing the game co-op (locally too!) Highly recommended

Loved this game. Reminded me of the Neverhood more than any other game I've played. It's a very disarming sort of game with a lot of heart and charm. I think I enjoyed this game more than any other adventure game in a long time.
