After 20-something hours, I've now gotten all the achievements, got a gold star in every mini-game, and mastered all the recipes. I'm happy this was finally brought back to PC, and I do think that it should have been made this way a long time ago instead of screwing around on the App Store forever, the game is so much better with a mouse instead of on my phone screen. The content added was nice including some cutscenes, customer costumes (which was already on certain mobile versions), and more seasons that don't repeat as much compared to some mobile games. My one critique is that because (in my opinion) this game series does not have much in the way of replay value, so they need to extend the game's length. I pretty much only picked this up for nostalgia. Had I played the mobile version recently, I might not have been very interested or it would have been a long time before I finally did play it on PC. Given as I said, it took me a little over 20 hours to finish entirely, I think there needs to be more mini-games to keep you coming back as well as stop capping every day's customer count at 7 customers; the days should last longer to draw the game out. I understand this may be monotonous for some, but I found myself oftentimes working so fast I'd have one customer to work on at a time, the high-intensity multi-tasking didn't really feel present like it did in the Flash Gamer Era. Finally though, I'll say that I fully support them making more "Deluxe" editions of their games, this works well on Steam and I did enjoy striving to get all the Steam achievements. This was well-done.

It's a spinoff of POSTAL, but it's like DOOM, so why not give it a shot if you like both? It's a decently long enough game to keep you occupied, and the mechanics are easy to pick up on. Much better than the last time RWS worked with a third-party developer, that's for sure.

I have had this in my library for a while, and it always used to run on DOSbox, and you always had to mess around with configuration files to make it play well, especially on modern systems. I was genuinely surprised when I re-installed it to play for fun and learned that Bethesda had actually done quite a bit of work with it to make it great on modern systems, including adding increased resolution, a level selector, and more. It definitely revitalizes the experience of it to exist in the modern era of gaming.

I stumbled upon this recently, and figured why not play it start to finish and see what it's all about. I finished it now and in reality it doesn't play much different than the original Half-Life. The real "pros" are the adding of music at the title screen, the same track in the Playstation 2 version, as well as adding visual shadows on all models, and even a Cutscene at the end of the chapter "Apprehension", which is one of the "unused" things. In addition, there is a new Military Soldier who has a machine gun, which is hard to fight, but only drops SMG ammo when killed. The added HEV voice lines aren't necessary but I guess are helpful? You hear it more, as there's more call-outs for damage taken or healing, and information on each weapon you pick up. Not needed one bit, but some might like it more than others. Unfortunately, though it fixes "annoying bugs of original Half-Life", it comes with its own set of bugs. Some things I noticed was switching between levels; getting stuck seemed to happen much more frequently, causing you to have to re-load. Some of the Quicksave locations were off, and caused you to make up a great deal of progress as is places you in the default Quicksave locations, plus the AI seemed to be worse somehow (i.e. not following and needing to be directed more than once, not noticing your presence, or on rare occasion getting stuck). Some weapons had changed timing, like the Revolver taking a shorter time to reload and the Tripmine taking longer to deploy, plus a new idle animation for the Shotgun. From start to finish, it plays just fine, there's no "real" problems present, just its own share of hiccups, and the things added don't change the game too much at all. Even the texturing doesn't feel like it has changed, so it really just feels like Half-Life with "HD textures", a cutscene, shadows, more HEV voice lines, worse AI, less quicksaves, and worse player placement on level changes. In short, just play the original, this is really just something a little extra if you want to play it again in a different way.

Here's the thing about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City...it's a very well made game that's enjoyable and compelling from start to finish. Rockstar was able to fix all the annoying problems there were in Grand Theft Auto III that made it difficult and aggravating at parts, and made a much more enjoyable user experience. Obviously as technology moved forward, more could be done with it, obviously improved graphics, voice acting, and which else. The soundtrack to this game is also phenomenal, and really makes you imagine you turned on the radio in '86 and nothing is out of the ordinary. The usage of buying property and rising to the top from the bottom was an interesting take, that made for striving to reach goals much more sweet when achieved. It's very unfortunate that Rockstar has kind of forgotten about the Original GTA Trilogy for PC, where there's horrid ports of the games (GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas), or not even a functional port at all. Luckily, The Windows Compatibility Mode exists, but is not entirely proficient in fixing these problems, but it is a start that at least has the game run. If you're okay with playing this on Modern Hardware, prepare for a couple of hiccups, and maybe it will work if you have older Operating Systems (Talking about it not doing well on Windows 10 precisely), but the real experience might just be to play it on Console. Plus, if you do pick it up on console, GTA Vice City Stories is available for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable you could probably snag online. All in all, this game is great, and it's sad that Rockstar has forgotten about it to a point.

I like this game a lot. It brings those classic Nintendo vibes and nostalgia you might get if you played a lot of NES Ice Hockey or the NHL games in the 90s before they got 3D. It's got that Arcade edge where it looks and plays like a retro game, but it's just fun. There's a lot of content in it too, with a lot of gamemodes including Exhibition for quick games, Tournaments, and even a Franchise Mode. Part of the fun is that there's no rules and it's an edgy game that's complete with the bloody and gory stuff.

Of course, there are some problems with the game, it's not perfect. The only errors I see that I hope are fixed is sometimes the player won't appear at the very beginning of the game, which makes the game crash because it does not know what to do. Also, the audio system sometimes carries over, creating a bunch of audio tracks playing simultaniously, which can get annoying. (The soundtrack to the game is really good, despite this)

Overall, I find this a really good, fun game you can play for hours without getting bored. I'm a big Hockey fan myself, so that could be why I find it appealing and addicting, but it's a pretty good quality game nonetheless, coming from a sole Indie Developer.

Early Access Review
So this is a very high-quality re-make of the original Half-Life, which released over 20 years ago now. It's hard to re-make a masterpiece, and the studio behind this tries their best. It's been out on Steam for 3 years now itself, and it has a lot, but it's still incomplete. It is an "Early Access" game, so that doesn't matter. At the time I am writing this, earlier this week, the Studio announced a future update which will add the "Xen" area, which is featured briefly in the original Half-Life game. Their plan is to implement a longer campaign in Xen to add the the original, and the Black Mesa game itself. Personally, I don't like that a "Re-make" is not going to be true to the source content itself, and I think it's wrong to add unncessary stuff not present in the original. You can't be perfect in a re-make, but you can be pretty close, and though the original base they have now is pretty close, they're straying even farther away. Overall, if you're a fan of the Half-Life series, you should play this re-make. If you're someone who actually cares about the way a game looks and doesn't want to see it in the outdated, old graphics, you're missing out, because that is the superior product in the end. With or without it being a re-make, it's a quality game.

Now, I know what everyone means, and I get exactly why this game is so negatively graded, and perhaps I'm blinded by the vanity that i've been with the POSTAL series for years, but I honestly quite enjoyed this game. There are a lot of bugs, no doubt, such as mapping problems where you'll spawn in from a cutscene and the map doesn't exist anymore, or AI bugging out and getting stuck between props or other AI, and not to mention the often crashing; these are all problems, but you can easily look past them, in my opinion. Take into consideration all the problems this game has is the same problems that are often found in Valve games, speaking of which they both use the Source Engine, which isn't perfect by any means. It's kind of a shame that the levels are very simplistic and unclear to the storyline oftentimes, but it's worth the value of doing it most of the time, as it does lead up to something in the least. The factor of having two different game-styles based on your choice of Good or Bad is a nice touch, and alternate endings based on what you do throughout the game is a fun factor to work towards. Additionally, I will mention that the game is not really lengthy, unlike POSTAL or POSTAL 2, where you can make the game pretty much as long as you'd like. But on a positive side, after you've beaten the story once, you do unlock a free-roam mode, which is much like POSTAL 2, but in Catharsis, not Paradise. Bottomline, there are a lot of features in the game that are good, and it's a solid Third-Person Shooter in the least, but yes, there are gamebreaking and annoying bugs. In the sense that the game itself is disowned by Running With Scissors themselves, as it was mostly developed by Akella and Trashmasters, I understand why, But, despite it all, if you are a Big Fanatic of the POSTAL series, like myself, do give it a try, but I do feel like the only ones that are able to stick with the game are the super-fans, and I totally understand why anyone would overlook this game and play POSTAL 2 instead, because it is a lot more fun, and cheaper. Conclusively, I recommend this game to primarily huge fans of the POSTAL series, but for those that aren't and are looking for a better game, I would recommend getting POSTAL 2 and overlooking Postal 3 here for now.

Prospekt is a simplistic, yet very nice use of the Source Engine, but seemingly only using Half-Life 2 assets, minimally with custom ones. Unlike most i've talked to that have played this game, I don't have a problem with this, since it is supposed to be part of the Half-Life 2 story and previous games. If you're unfamiliar with the collaboration back in 1999 between Valve and Gearbox Software, the game, "Half-Life: Opposing Force", it is esentially made to take place at the exact same time that Half-Life takes place, just in the view of United States Marine, Adrian Shephard. This game is a continuation of that game, with the same character, Corporal Shephard. The game does create familiarity with those that have played Half-Life 2, with things extremely simular to Nova Prospekt, and the Citadel. Bottomline, the usage of the the familiar assets, creates a more inviting environment for those that might not be familiar with anything past that.

Now, many of the complaints i've heard about this game, most especially, that the puzzles are very easily solved, and the game as a whole is too short. Sure, that's not wrong, but the puzzles does have a bit of fun to them in trying to figure it out, with how simplistic or complex it could be. About it being short, yes, it took me less than 2 hours to complete it, and I did it in one day. I really don't have a problem with that, as it does open the door for replay value, because you know it won't take long to do; The game could also be replayed while listening to the Developer Commentary, from Mr. Richard Seabrook himself.

The way I see it, yes, the game is short, and looks a little lazy due to it being a reusage of assets, and being simple, but like I said, it's fun to figure out the puzzles the first time, and has some replay value. But, me, as a huge Half-Life fan, who has played every game more than once or twice...or maybe more...had fun with this little game, because it does feel simular and is very close to what you'd imagine Valve would do themselves. I honestly think that as long as you've got an open mind, and some time, you could enjoy this game, especially if you're a Half-Life fan.

Alrighty, let's just make it real simple. If you're an achievement hunter seeking to get all the achievements on games, look no further than this little number right here. Super Duper Flying Genocide 2017, is a pretty good indie game, that's really quite fun. Besides that, it's great for achievements; There's 329, and can all be achieved in a short amount of time. I've already completed the game with all the achievements, and it took me 23 minutes. Besides being here for the achievement fun, it's not that bad of a game, and I do believe it's endless, so if you really like it, keep playing. There's nothing stopping you from it...other than running out of achievements.
