This game is a veritable masterpiece, and I would wager the best game I have ever played. The sheer freedom you are offered and the extreme creative solutions you can use to figure out any and every puzzle, battle or even little distractions, is alone enough to make this purchase well worth it. But Larian Studios went above and beyond fully voice acting all 75k lines of dialogue. The game offers a unique take on combat, heavily focusing on the environment around you and how to use it to your advantage in combat, constantly fighting for highground, throwing barrels, or laying down sheets of slippery ice in order to barely claw through the fight. The combat offers insane depth and even offers an arena mode in which you can duel other players with custom parties. The story experience also offers a full drop in/drop out 4-player experience. Every player is free to do what they want and at times this can lead to conflicting goals and fighting between what the party will do.

Even with all of this to offer, Larian went even further and added a GM mode, which allows users to create custom campaigns and a game master to guide the groups adventure. This also comes with full steam workshop support, allowing you to mod the game as you wish.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is, I think, the best game ever created and I suggest that you purchase this work of art as soon as you are able.

Dissapointing. I was hyped for this game for a solid year, and preordered it the second I could. It promised to be an exciting game much like terraria can be, but sen in the distant future, and on new worlds. While the latter is true, the former is not. This game, to put it bluntly, is boring. After I mess around for a few hours, it's just not as fun as a game like Terraria. You explore, walk around, explore some more upgrade your gear, just so you can explore more. But, its not exciting exploration, all you do is walk in one direction for a while untill you find something, then you loot it and move to the next planet. That's it. The balance of the game is horrible as well, things are either ridiculously hard or mind numbingly easy. This game has potential, but in its beta it is a waste of money.
