A rare gem that beautifully blends history and artistry. It masterfully captures the spirit of feudal Japan with its breathtaking landscapes, fluid combat, and rich attention to detail. From the vibrant golden forests to the rolling fields of colorful flowers, every inch of the world feels meticulously crafted like a living painting. The combat is both elegant and brutal, allowing players to dance between stealth and samurai precision. It’s immersive, rewarding, and never feels stale, even after multiple playthroughs.

It’s been four years since I first completed Ghost of Tsushima, and diving back into it now feels like reuniting with an old friend, especially with the Iki Island DLC (which came out a year after my initial playthrough) it added new layers of exploration, challenge, and storytelling. It's been a pleasant surprise to find content that further expands the world and Jin’s character. It was a heartwarming surprise, and exploring the expansion alongside the base game over again has been an absolute joy, the replay value has been enhanced even more by PlayStation’s integration overlay, allowing me to seamlessly alternate between PS5 and PC ,an innovation I hope continues with future releases.

With Ghost of Yotei on the horizon, I couldn’t be more excited. If it carries even a fraction of the artistry and soul of Tsushima, it’ll be another journey I’ll hold dear.
