Here is my honest review of Pubg, after 5000 + hours in this game alone and 5000 hours +-in other shooters.

1.) The game is super needy. While other games that are more advanced in graphics, movement etc like call of duty will run on my Pc with no problem and stream with no problem, Pubg always has problems. Open it with my stream broadcaster OBS and the game suffers even more. Keep in mind, this pc I play on is about 5 years old wile Pubg is 8 years old at the time of this review. 90% of its player base has to play the game on "very low" settings , even a world champion like TGLTN so they can get more FPS.
2.) They closed servers and merged servers instead of adding servers and then they post things like they had record sales in 2024. Their biggest financial year ever. They ask in their questionnaires why you don't buy their battle pass (which has things designed for 6 year old girls)
3.) Cheaters run rampart. They will tell you, it's a very tiny percentage (but what they don't tell you is they can't catch things like no recoils macros, etc.
4.) The game is literally outdated and every update they run is over 30GB and this regularly. Sometimes. It goes with new items like progressive weapons they ad in so you will have it twice a month
5.) Very Aggressive store (Micro Transactions) Can easily cost you up to a $1000 to obtain a skin, let alone upgrading it.
they also recycle old skins so there is no rarity in the game and you cant sell skins on the steam market
6.) Playing Ranked solo is not possible unless you are a world champion and even he cant consistently solo against squads. There just isn't enough ways in this game to outplay squads. The characters are slow, footsteps can be heard from the buildings next door. They refuse to add solo game play in ranked. You have to VPN to Asia to do so. But for the western world, forget about it. Go look at call of duty, you have so many ways that you can take out an entire squad solo and it is even possible to escape or out run them.
7.) Pubg has way to many bots and AI. In Call of duties normal mode, I have never come across an actual bot in call of duty.
8.) For a westerner its hell queuing with squads in pubg because 2 out of your 3 team mates will be from a place where there accent is so bad and they cant speak two words proper English. You log into pubg and Que squads you are likely to play with some guy out of Uzbekistan.

So in conclusion: If you decide to play Pubg, be prepared to be happy with "EVERYTHING LESS"
Less graphics
Latency and high ping
rapid drops in fps
screen taring
less honest players. A guy sits 500 m away from you and just spams his mini 14 , killing you in 3 shots. Seeing everybody plays on very low settings, you will wonder how he is able to see you. Or they will spray with a Beryl and kill you easy while they have "NO RECOIL"
The game is just not working. They keep you coming back with constant daily log in rewards while the actual agenda are the micro transactions.

The game is just not working anymore. GO play Cod for 100 hours if you have played pubg fir a 1000 hours and you will just know what I am saying
THe game is not fun anymore. Beautiful maps but that's it

Pubg is not worth it, you will waste your time and A Lot of money.

There is a way you can enjoy pubg though, with a 3 dedicated friends that love the game like you do or be happy just playing NORMAL solo mode. Otherwise stay away. Making in game friends wont help either. THey will get you banned also
