The Game's core functions are good; gun play is incredible and movement is enjoyable and has good skill ceilings.

Other than that; the game sucks. Overpriced DLC that doesn't really add anything new. A 'Looter Shooter' with only 1 main quality of gear (Legendaries) that are hardly legendary and extremely common. and 'Exotics' which used to be rare; but are now so common that it's so surprising they even try to sell this game as a Looter Shooter.

PvP is dead because of the over-bloating of powerful abilities so-much-so the power creep has made it nigh-unplayable or enjoyable. A PvP mode without abilities would be so fun and has been sought after for a while; but when would Bungie ever listen to the community with such an easy fix?

I honestly forget Gambit exists. It has the worst parts of PvE and PvP combined. Just Delete it already; it's beyond dead.

I want to recommend the CORE game for free; it's a fun experience and like i said; the core components are great. but REALLY think before buying any DLC, it's just more of the same with a fancy coat of paint.

If this game belonged to Developers that just listened; it would be so much bigger than it already is. But instead it is an MMO with no MMO; A Looter Shooter with 1 Quality of Loot. A Story Game with 1 dragged out story for years; that even the Developers seem to have forgotten what they are actually making. It gets more and more casual and forgiving every year to the point you don't use new gear, you don't play new things, you just open the game; stare at the map and see nothing interesting; and close it.

Please Bungie just listen to us already.

EDIT: this aged really well considering the news that has been coming out. I guess, once again they haven't learnt a single thing. Upper management seem totally oblivious as to how to make the game good. it's incredibly simple, any player with 1k plus hours KNOWS what the game needs; but people paid hundreds of thousands a year and multiple bonuses decide a $15 'Starter Pack' with useless items just to prey on new players is a good idea.
