A Stealth Masterpiece with Great Humor and Challenge!
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

The game features excellent level design with plenty of ways to tackle each mission, making it feel rewarding when you successfully sneak past enemies or complete an objective without being caught. The environments are detailed and visually appealing, blending dark fantasy with a touch of steampunk.

Styx, the goblin protagonist, adds a lot of character to the game. His witty, sarcastic humor is a great touch and keeps the tone light, even though the world around him is dark and dangerous. The stealth mechanics are spot-on, with abilities like creating clones and distracting enemies, which make each mission feel like a puzzle that requires careful planning.

The game's difficulty is definitely on the higher side, which will appeal to players who love a challenge. However, I did find the AI behavior to be a bit inconsistent at times. Some enemies seemed to spot me from impossible angles, which could be frustrating, especially when I thought I was safely hidden. This occasionally led to trial-and-error moments that slowed down the experience.

That being said, the thrill of outsmarting enemies and exploring the large, well-crafted levels made it all worth it. The game also has a co-op mode, which adds a fun layer if you want to team up with a friend for some stealthy action.

In conclusion, Styx: Shards of Darkness is a fantastic stealth title that will test your patience and strategic thinking. The occasional AI hiccups don't detract from the overall enjoyment, and if you love stealth games, this one is definitely worth your time!
