After around 15 hours (5 hours on Gamepass before buying the Steam version) I've finally gotten the hang of using the whip in combat and now I truly feel like Indy. What Machine Games have done, instead of a lazy Uncharted clone is give this the feel of the old LucasArts point and click adventures but somehow transferred into a stealth/fps/puzzle hybrid and I can't really explain it any better.
Troy Baker's Indy voice is bang on and you forget this isn't Harrison Ford. The story scenes are easily as good in terms of direction as the movies and the character writing is pretty good as well.
Visuals, if your PC is up to Path Tracing can look incredible, and even without the full Path Tracing this game looks great.
It's going to be a hard toss up between Stalker 2 and this for my GoTY but at the moment this is leading.

EDIT AFTER FINISHING GAME:

After finishing the game I can still say I loved it but one level dragged it down a bit for me. The jungle level where you have to traverse using a boat just seemed to take all the energy out of what had so far been a ride. With path tracing on it was also the worst running level, sometimes dropping below 60fps. The tombs and puzzles were as of usual high quality but getting to them was a real chore. However, that level aside the rest of the game is a delight and the ending was perfect.
