If you enjoy fighting games and Hololive, I think you'll love this game. If you enjoy one but not the other I still think you'll still enjoy this game. It has a very simple control scheme and I'd say overall the game is easy to learn but not easy to master.

It's a well made fighting game, so much so that it's surprising to think about how this is a fan-made game. The team behind this game put two years of work into this game despite knowing they would not be making any money off of this project. The game is truly a labor of love, with a very passionate dev team behind it.

It's hard for me to not recommend this game as for one, it's a free game. The only thing you have to give to play it is your time. If you end up not liking it, that's fine, but at least you didn't have to give your money and your time.

Cruelty Squad is a great example of the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover". Because underneath the ugly (by design) exterior that is the games graphics, there is an incredibly enjoyable and unique FPS game. If you like Deus Ex (or just the immersive sim genre in general) and/or you like Hitman, I think you will like Cruelty Squad.

If you want to know more about it, there are multiple great in-depth reviews of the game on YouTube.

When I'm asked about this game, I always tell people that I like it a lot. But I also say that I can completely understand why people wouldn't like this game. This game is definitely not for everybody. This game is weird. I can tell you that I love the story, the world, the visuals, the performances. But if you can't get into the gameplay itself, I won't tell you that you're wrong to think that way because you aren't.

What I can say about this game is that it's a unique game. I haven't seen a game quite like it. I know that there's the meme of "The first Strand type game" but in all honesty, Death Stranding is a different kind of game. I'd say it borders on experimental. And at the very least I have to give Kojima and his team credit for trying something new, something they weren't sure people would like, especially for it to be their first game since becoming an independent studio. In any form of media, there is no evolution without experimentation. While I wouldn't say that Death Stranding is a revolutionary game that has changed the landscape of the gaming industry, I will say it's definitely something new and I hope to see more games try to bring something new to the table.

If you think you would enjoy or be able to stick with the gameplay, I definitely recommend this game. It's quite an experience. If you can't, then I'd say don't play it, but maybe watch someone else play it. Or just watch a collection of the cutscenes.

Deus Ex is not just some FPSRPG. It's more than that. It is a pioneer, a ground breaking innovator that sets a bar for all non linear story telling games. A bar that modern day games haven't come close to passing despite the advanced technology availible to them. Deus Ex is a came that truely grants unparralled freedom. The game never tells you how you should play the game because there is no right way to play the game. Do you want to complete your missions with violence? Go ahead. Do you want to go through the game without harming a single soul? You can do that. You can complete missions without anyone knowing you were there. You can win battles or just avoid conflict all together with creativity and intelligience. It's without a doubt a game you must play before you leave God's great Earth. 10/10
