A lovely little light puzzle game. The only detraction I would make from it is that colour blind people will struggle, if not find themselves unable to solve the puzzles, as solutions are heavily dependent upon colour.

But if you like puzzle games, especially those with a bit of a physics bent, it's very definitely worth a look.

A lovely steampunk imagining of the classic slider game. There's not a huge amount of depth to it, but it's definitely a fun way to spend a bit of time.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (and its DLC, Enemy Within) was a worthy reboot of the original XCOM/UFO series, nicely capturing the spirit of the original whilst also improving its gameplay in a number of ways.

XCOM 2, in comparison, is a nice bit of polish on Enemy Unknown/Within: it refines some of the mechanics, improves the user interface in a number of ways (some subtle, some obvious), and generally makes a solid effort at building upon what was done in EU/EW.

If you enjoyed the original XCOM/UFO, Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within are very much worth a look. If you enjoyed Enemy Unknown and/or Enemy Within, XCOM 2 is definitely worth your time. And War of the Chosen... man, that is virtually a fresh game all on its own.

A solid re-interpretation of the original XCOM (also known as UFO: Enemy Unknown). The soldier classes add a strong tactical element to the battles, and it's nice to see that psionic skills have been nerfed - in the original game, they were absolute game breakers.

The only recommendation I would make, if you're looking at this game, is to also get the expansion, Enemy Within; this adds a lot of depth to the game. The original is worthy on its own, but Enemy Within takes it up a notch.
