This games feels great and is a very welcome sequel to its predecessor!

I love how tight and precise the controls feel in this game, it feels pretty easy to adapt to as well with how swift and deep the mechanics in this game can get. Me and a few of my buds that I play with all agree that it has a hybrid feel between Smash Bros Melee and Ultimate, only it feels way better in the hands than both of them.

It really didn't take me too long to adapt to how the game felt and getting strings/combos is surprisingly easy. I personally am a bit of a 'spiking' fiend when it comes to these games, however my attempts at dunking have almost never came out the way I want, not without a lot of focus and patience of course. With this game though, I look like I've been playing this game for months or years with how easy I can get them on command. Maybe that sounds like this game is accommodating to mindless gameplay or mashing, but I would strongly disagree. It really does just feels like you are in that much more control of your fighter, personally. (btw I use a GCC controller with a Mayflash Adapter)

My only real concerns as of right now is them managing the servers/online connectivity of the game better, because connecting across different regions seems a bit buggy and was crashing my game often. I had a really difficult time troubleshooting on why I couldn't open my own private lobby or join any others, but after reading and looking around in the game a bit, I found out that I can adjust what regions are enabled/disabled so I unchecked a bunch of the ones that didn't have my buddies residing there and it worked just fine.

I also hope I see some more expansion in the single player/offline aspect of the game, like a tutorial mode for practicing tech and other more advanced mechanics. A story mode would be cool too. I know that some of these things will definitely be out in the future though, as well as major patches for the game and buffs/nerfs on the fighters. The graphics I think could use some polish, but that is far from a real concern to me. There are some performance issues I am seeing on my end in the game at times however, but I can't tell if it is the game or just my computer because my build is a bit on the older side.

I also hope the in-game currencies are adjusted too, because I don't really see the point in grinding with how little you make back from doing things in the game, then again maybe I haven't fully done everything there is to do. Thing is I also want to buy skins more easily too, because I LOVE the skins in this game, but I really don't wanna fork over another 15-20 bucks to get one each time one drops. If prices are adjusted to be cheaper or if micro-currencies are earned in a different way, then maybe it'd be more worth it, maybe.

Regardless of my gripes, I look forward to seeing more content come out for this game, and I suggest to everyone that enjoys smash games to try this game too. The price is justified, but it does feels like maybe they should have done Early Access with this game for a bit since it seems/feels like a lot more is planned for the game and its going to probably go through several overhauls over the next few years, like cross-play and porting the game to console eventually.

I would just say to those that are unsure or annoyed about the current state of the game, just have patience. This will be so worth it. Fornace has shown once already that he listens to fans and is a man of the people when it comes to paying tribute to smash-like games! Just give a shot and stick around, still more worthwhile than Multiversus or any other uninspired $70 triple A developer titles.
