Poker 2: Electric Boogaloo

Beautiful game, nice mystery. The ending (of the game, not the mystery) is somewhat anticlimactic.

Another game in my unlikely delve into hidden object games. This one seems truly unique. Beautiful art, just enough story to feel meaningful, and the music, and the way it integrates with the gameplay, is just wonderful. However, since it is only about 2 hours to finish, I'd probably recommend waiting for a sale.

My second hidden object game, this one was quite fun, too. Pretty visuals, nice puzzles. Unfortunately, the faces are still quite cursed, and I did not like some of the voice acting, Still worth it if you like HOG.

Another excellent entry in the Room series. At first I was not a big fan of the seemingly chaotic, less linear experience, however, it did pay off with all of the very nicely interlocking puzzles across the entire house. I don't want to give anything away, but the ending is also my favorite out of all of the Room games so far. I absolutely adore the work the developers do, and I really hope there are more games in this series to come!!

This game was my first foray into Hidden Object Games, I did not know what to expect. To be honest, I'm positively surprised. It's a nice relaxing point-and-click experience, with the odd puzzle and quite a few hidden object searches, which are optionally skipped by playing a domino game. I surprisingly enjoyed the hidden object part though, so I didn't skip them. Overall, I would recommend you give this a try if you want to see if HOGs are for you.

Another excellent title in the Room series. It feels like with every iteration, they perfect the formula even more. However, this is the first game in the series where I have some caveats. The post-game was... not bad, exactly, but just not the high standard I have come to expect from this series. No hints is... a choice, I don't like it but I understand it. A lot of the puzzles felt very... run around and look for the one item you need...y. Plus it gets very repetetive toward the end, with slow, unskippable animations. However, I will not count this against it much, since it *is* postgame, and the core game is excellent as always. Plus, despite my gripes with it, the post games did give this a more satisfying end than any other The Room title.

Overall, I would still highly, highly recommend this if you've enjoyed the other titles. If you haven't played those, go do that right now, and make your decision based on that.

The Room 1 introduced a formula, and The Room 2 perfected it. A beautiful and fun puzzle game that flows in marvelous ways. If you're here because you enjoyed The Room, you cannot do wrong by buying this. Might be my favorite puzzle game I've played, I am curious to see what The Room 3 holds.

An unusual and engaging experience. As of time of writing this is on sale for ~1€, this is definitely worth picking up. It's short, but if you like story driven games, this is one of the good ones.

What a great game. Not quite what I expected going in, more of a murder mystery with a great sci-fi story and great, lovable characters, than anything else. Get this if you love story heavy games, don't mind reading a lot, and/or love dragons. <3
