Good, simple gameplay that has endless possibilities.

I bought this game when it launched and had a blast with it. Recently I reinstalled it to check out the new content and introduce it to my wife. She was completing all of the challenges like a week later. Definitely gets the thumbs up in my house!

I've been playing this game for far, far longer than I can remember and have watched it evolve from the very early days to what it is now. Even in the rougher parts of the beta, I still came back at least every year to dive back in and every year it got better. I've easily sunk 500+ hours into the game and I can easily sink another 500+.

Absolutely lovely.

Packed with great music and fluid controls. The story mode is way better than it deserves to be (quite a good surprise). I would have absolutely paid for this game if I hadn't received received a key from the dev. Damn good job on the game!

EDIT: Originally had a positive review saying there's some good stuff here but... I just can't anymore. The game is so obtuse requiring extensive search online to find even the most basic of things. There were some improvements to help drive quest direction but the quest log is so broken that you'll have markers for quests you've long since finished and the markers for your current quests wont show up or are pointing to the wrong place.

I'm utterly deflated. I wanted to enjoy it but after playing it for many many hours, I just can't find a reason for me to put up with the absurdities of sticking to such an old school design when there are far better tried and true design methods. I'm tired of playing "guess what the developer was thinking."

Interesting little experimental game; I'd love to see this experience fleshed out into a longer form project. It'll take 5-10 min to beat and it's free. Do yourself a favor and discover why people are giving it a recommendation.
