I need to add some context - it is compared to Nioh 2 because Koei-Tecmo / Team Ninja made it.
Hell, they even advertised it as "From the creators of the Nioh Series".
The combat mechanics is NOTHING like Nioh 2.
But the Design, garbage inventory management, and general look-feel styling are from the same template.
Even you must admit it is stupid Wo Long players have to go to Tianzhushan or next mission every time the current mission is completed rather than going to the world map for mission selection.
Overall, it's almost comical how issue(s) that were solved (and not solved) in Nioh 2 somehow makes a return in Wo Long.
"This game is NOT Nioh 2"
Exactly, this game isn't Nioh 2 and it's not trying to be. Stop trying to compare the two and enjoy the game for what it is, don't hate it for what it isn't.
