Slime Rancher is definitely one of those games that you can just sit back, relax, play and have the same enjoyable feeling when going back each and every time. Things like the soundtrack, environments and game play mechanics just keep pulling me back in.

Soundtrack: Slime Ranchers wistfully, harmonic and upbeat music compliment the feeling of the game perfectly, which immerses you in the game even further. The sound design is pretty good, with no real complaints, but it doesn't do anything special either. Amazing soundtrack though, I give it a 9/10!

Game Play Mechanics: Slime Rancher's gameplay is intuitive and fluid; this is a must, for a game that mostly focuses on the aspect of moving throughout areas and I think they've almost perfected this at the 'Monomi Park' Dev team. I love the idea of being able to unlock more and more things as I go on which makes it's replayability even higher! Really don't have anything bad to say about the gameplay. I haven't even talked about the seperate gamemode yet, RUSHMODE. I absolutely love Rushmode. It's a game mode that takes the main mechanics of the game (getting more slime plort to get more money) and adds speed-running to the mix with the entire game being on a one hour timer. The timer and music change as you get closer and closer to that 0 second mark makes you feel like you're really in the rush and not just a timer counting down for no reason, it's great. Though it can be frustrating at some times, it adds SO MUCH replayability to the game and I love increasing my score and improving myself within the game. In the gameplay department, I would give This game a 10/10!

Environments: Atmosphere, in my opinion, is one of the most important aspects to look at when viewing an action-adventure ranch simulator game like this. With all of that being said, although Slime Rancher doesn't pull of anything too special in this department, It still does a great job with the combination of gameplay mechanics and sound design accompanying them. I give the environments portion an 8/10!

I will be continuing to play Slime Rancher as I await it's sequel hopefully soon! Overall, I give Slime Rancher a 9.5/10, I highly recommend! :)

I love a lot of things about this game: the art-style, soundtrack, gameplay, progression, characters and mechanics. One of the things I would like to point out are that the mechanics in the game including fishing, digging, mining, etc though not very unique, are fun and satisfying. The music is so atmospheric and just accurate to the nail as it switches its sound and intensity as you go through different environments in the game. The charm in every character you talk to in the game is so profound and unique, it's absolutely wonderful. Very short and seems like it relies more on 'collectathoning' in the beginning, but is fun nonetheless because you're going through these amazing areas. Love it, too short :)
