Some of the purest skill expression I've seen in a long time. You start out bad and you slowly get good.
Also rewards observation & intuition massively.

Genuinely tough—I would say the mid game onwards is inaccessible to at least 40% of gamers—but if you're tough and a little bit creative (and able to read and understand keen, tricky details), it's doable, and will feel great to finally beat the nastier challenges.

Still has some project moon bs—that one review that complains about a boss's phase 5 instakilling the team if you don't immediately implement the new thing is gives you is correct—but I assume you're coming here with at least some lobcorp experience.

This is worthy of praise as a creative project completed by a small, determined team,

but without weighing that context and instead focusing on how it just felt, as a game, it was not very fun. Story, dialogue, gameplay, graphics, and most everything else you could mention are lacking. It felt like Garten of Banban—meaningfully better in every way, don't get me wrong, but still a walking simulator with little else to it. I'll be watching the creator's playthroughs, but won't be playing future chapters.

Very smooth gameplay that feels like a major challenge at first but quickly smooths out into skill-rewarding ascension with just enough room to pick a surviving strategy. Will 100% be buying the full game on release.
