Play solo against zombies in modern suburban environments. Controls and weapons feel good and slow-mo is fun!

Here's some gameplay if you're interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhtiBgYYNq0

Windscape is one of those rare really high quality indie games. It feels a lot like an online game that plays single-player because of all the resource gathering and fetch quests, but in a way it's refreshing.

The graphics are also beautiful! Here's some gameplay if you're interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5b6ks6tG20

Great game for cheap. The sound design isn't really there (or maybe my volume was too low) but the entire battlefield being covered in lasers really is worth experiencing!

A better version of Prop Hunt.

Witch It is a team based multiplayer game with two character roles.

The Witch can transform into various physics objects in the environment such as tomatos, bowls or giant slices of cheese.
The controls take a bit to get used to as you roll around the environment or try to hang onto a wall as a painting, but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun!

The Hunter searches out and destroys Witches by attacking the "prop" items in the environment with long range shots (that can overheat if spammed), or a melee attack.

Each side has different abilities you can unlock.

Witches start with levitation, allowing you to fly for a short period.
Unlocks include an ability to right click and control a mimic witch who walks where your mouse cursor is..
or a poison spore that drops on the ground and any hunters caught in the blast will have their movement / mouse controls reversed. After playing for a while, I find the spore more annoying than fun. I'd like to see it changed to a smoke bomb or something because with how laggy some servers get, inverted controls is a bit over powered.

Hunters on the other hand start with a chicken throw ability. The chicken will tumble around and start screaming at you if a nearby prop is a witch.
Unlocks include a grappling hook which allows you to pull yourself to walls, roof tops and even props! In a lot of ways this ability is required as some maps have areas witches can hide that you can't access without the hookshot (or at least it's very difficult without one)..
The final ability lets you throw garlic / an onion which will cancel any witch ability who is in the area. This ability can also stick to props / witches.

Now that we've got that outta the way, let's talk about how many maps you get for the price.
2 snow maps (one of which isn't particularly fun), the snow moves as you walk in it which is very cool and can help you find hiding props.
2 vibrant green maps, one of which is a mansion with a hedge maze outside.
2 night maps (one is just a night version of the mansion map but doesn't let you go outside).
More maps are planned, so hopefully it won't take too long to see more and hopefully the game will some day support custom maps with steam workshop.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
If you've ever played Gmod Prop Hunt, you'll feel right at home with Witch It.
The props have a few different sets they can cycle through on each map, so you won't always see a pumpkin spawn in the same place each round and holding SHIFT as a prop allows you to adjust yourself based on where your mouse is looking, giving you a lot of control for hiding.
It's good fun playing online with strangers, but having a bunch of friends to scream at in a custom game is where the real fun is had as you drop down hints to finding each other. Definitely worth the asking price!

One of the best Roguelikes out there with very little to complain about. Worth buying? Definitely!

------------
THE GOOD:
------------
GAMEPLAY has you going into an area, fighting enemies and gathering treasure along the way. Once you complete a zone, you can refill your potions (so long as you've unlocked them) and buy perks for "Dead Cells".
Dead Cells are a currency dropped by enemies and used to unlock new items from recipes you'll rarely find dropped from enemies. Once you unlock a new weapon, any dead cells used on that recipe will perma increase that weapons damage.
Be warned! You'll have to complete the current zone to unlock any recipes you found. You die, you lose the recipe.
Gold is used to purchase items and while you also lose it when you die, there's perks that let you keep some gold for your next run.

CHARACTER PROGRESSION is split into 3 stats:
HEALTH - if you increase this you have more health and can take more hits.
STRENGTH - increases your weapon damage (this includes swords and ranged attacks).
SKILL - increases damage for grenades, trap items and buffs.
These stats do not carry over if you die.

GAME PROGRESSION starts with you fighting your way to an Elite monster. Defeat it and unlock a rune ability. Rune abilities are perma unlocked and allow you to progress to new areas and find secret rooms with gear.
Unfortunately there's only 2 runes in the game and progress beyond this point is all about collecting recipes.

CONTROLS are very tight. Your attack / cast time differs on the weapon you choose, but you'll always be able to roll and dodge most enemy attacks if you get the timing right. It's very skill based and you'll rarely have a death because of the controls.

----------
THE BAD:
----------
PROGRESSION gets a bit old after you've played a few hours. You'll find all the starting recipes in the early maps, then have issues collecting any more since surviving the later maps is very dependant on the gear you roll and if enemies will even drop a recipe.
The current Final Boss gives you a recipe if you defeat it and the area after that auto-kills you. I can't say if the final boss gives more than one recipe though, I've only managed to beat him once.

CONTROLS only have one issue but it's a pretty big one.. your character auto grabs ledges. This vaulting animation will cancel out attacks / rolls often resulting in taking a hit.

Right now I'm at the end-game and finding it more frustrating than rewarding. Late-game enemies can one-shot you, the prison map has priests that make enemies invisible and the cemetary enemies can pull you across the map and instantly stunlock you. This insane level of difficult enemies forces you to use cheap tactics at a distance rather than close range weapons and even then you'll die.
While later zones definitely need more balancing, the biggest issue of all ends up being the camera. There's no option to zoom your camera out and most of the time you'll be killed by an enemy that rushes onto your screen faster than you can react.

-------------------
FINAL THOUGHTS:
-------------------
My one issue with roguelikes is that due to their random nature, they often lack proper balance between fun and challenge. I've clocked in over 10 hours on Dead Cells and it's only starting to get frustrating for me now, so that's saying a lot.
Runs clock in at about 10-30 minutes for me and often result in a cheap death around the pirate / cemetary map if I don't have biters or the lightning whip to keep my distance.

Personally I'd recommend Dead Cells to anyone who enjoys roguelikes or castlevania, but I think I'll wait for the next content update before I start playing again.

A fantastically well designed game!
Prey is like a First Person Shooter version of Darksouls (without the sticky controls). Be warned, this game is very difficult even on the NORMAL setting.

I'd recommend playing through on EASY MODE first so you can find out which abilities are right for your playstyle. Generally I'd advise investing in gun damage, hacking or repairing. During my play session I rushed the main mission and while transforming into a coffee cup to slip inside a security office is cool, I was only required to do it 2-3 times while the game almost always offered a hacking alternative.
That said, even playing through the game with bad abilities is extremely fun and could serve as a challenge.

While I do recommend you get this game, I strongly urge you to wait for patches!
The current version of Prey crashes constantly from start to finish and can become unplayable in the late-game. I'd almost finished the main story mission when suddenly my game started to crash to desktop every time I entered zero gravity (which is required in the game to reach certain areas) and any save file I would make beyond a certain point would become corrupt and crash if I attempted to load (two completely different game-breaking issues).

Little Nightmares is a true "quality over quantity" game. Fun physics based puzzles, sneaking past horrifying creatures or running down a hallway from a starving monster trying to eat you whole.
The quality of this game is without question, but is the amount of content worth $20 dollars?

THE GOOD:
-Outstanding presentation. Truly Little Nightmares comes with the whole package in terms of the quality. The graphics are not only unique, but very pretty with high quality animations bringing the characters to life, but the sound design is on a whole other level!
-Controls are responsive as you'd expect. Everything feels like you're in control of the character rather than fighting against them.
-Secret areas worth finding. Although these are only for collectibles, finding a secret passage leading to a unique room just for a collectible helps keep things interesting.

THE BAD:
-It's very short, I completed Little Nightmares in 3 hours and was left unsatisfied with the final two levels. The game only has 5 levels and while the first three manage to be 25-40 minutes, the last two were only around 15 minutes.
-The game sets a unique tone for each levels such as darkness, sound, sight but suddenly the forth level you're just running the whole time to avoid enemies and the final level is a boss fight.
-Very easy. Personally I don't see this as an issue, you get through the game with only a handful of deaths due to trial and error, but to some people it might not serve enough of a challenge.
-No replay value if you're not interested in collectibles.

SHOULD YOU BUY IT?:
I'd recommend it. Even if you only play through Little Nightmares once, the ride from start to finish is well worth it!
But if $20 dollars is a bit too much for 3 hours of gameplay, you can always watch it on YouTube.

I grew up with Turok 2 being one of my favorite games.
I started my YouTube channel because I wanted an excuse to replay Turok 2 as an adult.
I'm biased towards this game.
Nightdive did what they always do; bring a classic game back to life with better controls and aliasing.
The base game can be confusing where to go sometimes and the last few levels aren't as interesting as the earlier stages, but I still love it all.
There's a fully functional multiplayer mod to play through the campaign.
I reply this game every few years and it's always a great time.

Here's some gameplay you can skip through https://youtu.be/pLCKtquaEU8

At the moment there's about 10 to 20 minutes worth of content, so I can't recommend Ludoria considering the price. Buy it to support the devs.
