Right. So, Untravelled Planet should have released into early access instead of seeing a full release for six bucks. This game definitely needs a lot more time in the oven.

And interestingly enough, so many issues present themselves in the tutorial that I really don't understand why the dev decided to push this out.

For one, despite being a platformer and shooter, your character moves like s/he is swimming though molasses while also walking through mud. Make sense? No? Exactly.

You can use shift to run, but all that really does is get you back up to what would be considered acceptable walking speed.

There is a Metroid roll, and you do pick up some speed when doing so, but even then, it is sloooooowwwww...

Attack speed? Slooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww...

Jumping? Floaty and Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

Swimming? You know already.

Additionally, the actual movement, on top of being slow, is also janky AF.

There is some weird glitchiness in the music playing.

The story set-up makes zero sense. Why are you near enough to this abandoned planet that you would get shot down by pirates? If previous astronauts already dealt with the pirates, why are they still an issue? If your duck sensei has already dealt with plenty of astronauts previously, why does it not already have some answers. How was the duck able to drag you and your ship off without the pirates somehow noticing. Why didn't the pirates find you when they were collecting salvage and deconstructing your ship, since you were still on it at that time?

The graphics are washed.

Also, the English translation isn't spot on, and some of the sentences start and end offscreen.

All I'm saying is that, if all these issues already have presented themselves fifteen minutes into a playthrough, there are real issues with the game that should already have been addressed before deciding to charge people for the game or at the very least giving the game time to cook in early access. There is a 0% chance the developer was unaware of all of this. I hope things improve, but at the moment, this game ain't it.
