Genuinely enjoyed the gameplay, the worldbuilding, the NPCs, the main team, etc etc...but the romance felt shoehorned and extremely annoying, and I haven't touched any of the rest of the series since.

Having played both the original PC and PSP versions of this game, I'm incredibly glad there's now an official localization I can actually share with my friends! The story's amazing, the characters are interesting, and the art style has a certain charm to it that I really enjoy!

For some criticisms though, the English localization is a little awkward in places, and the way they chose to do the buttons feels incredibly unintuitive for PC...this is very definitely a PSP port, so I'd suggest playing it on Steamdeck if you've got one. (Also for some reason it tracks mouse movements even if I switch windows, so I keep accidentally opening the backlog when I go to look at a web browser or something...)

Fun game! Very relaxing! The text autoplays sometimes and the speed of that is too slow in English and too fast in Chinese?
Other than that I appreciate how laid-back it is, I don't feel rushed to do anything (aside from cooking, in a fun way) and all the characters are lovable as well.

There's no character creation so much as character selection, the animation when you pick a character takes too long and cannot be skipped, you're given ten seconds to give them a name that isn't gibberish, the in-game dialogue is voiced but is also timed and therefore skips before the voices even finish talking, and your character just runs off without you needing to do anything? Garbage game, honestly.

A classic, and still fun after all these years. I do with they could've fixed the controls, though - you can change them, sure, but in-game it'll still tell you to press Shift or whichever button and that gets kinda confusing.

A wonderful game for anyone who understands Chinese. Great plot, beautiful settings, and incredibly educational in regards to ancient historical China. The NPCs even have relationships with other characters around town, and you can actually find quest-givers from the optional mission board living their lives in various parts of the world!

All I have to say about this game is: Stalama!

Cookie clicking, cookie running...at this point I can't help but wonder, who's truly the one being eaten?

This game is addictive in a way like in those old Loony Toons cartoons where someone steps on a rake or gets caught in a trap/prank and tells themselves they won't get caught next time, and five seconds later they step on that rake again, and then again and again and again and seriously every time I give up on a level/turn off the game I find myself starting it up again...a problem

Cute characters! Cute story! Not a sad thing in sight! Definitely recommend to anyone who prefers not to go for the girl who first finds you in Rune Factory games.
