it's a shame that the bugs you'll be dealing aren't ones you'll be able to shoot at.

This game is amazing, so many cool moments. Great combat, awesome visuals, well designed world.

1. Is that my pawn getting dragged away by a wolf?
2. Did I just get thrown into a rock by a giant troll?
3. ... Is that a goblin stuck in a slime?
4. what the f*** is that thing?!

If you want to travel through beautiful landscapes, beat the hell out of monsters, and delve into dark, seemingly endless, caves. Then this game has your number.

I see the negative reviews about performance, it's the usual potato running a crypto miner and 10 malware scans and 8 streams crowd that can be safely ignored. I just played 8 hours straight without any performance issues or crashes. I guess people can't tell the difference between a DLC and a micro-transaction.

Let's face it, the game looks like something straight out of ms paint but it's so much fun.

I sat down to try this game and before I knew it... 4 hours had passed.

It's pretty clear what you're getting here from the screenshots, even in early access all of the important core elements feel great. Building, expanding, supply lines, etc.. it's all there and working.

I'm currently waiting for them to get closer to 1.0 before I dive back in, it's just the way I approach these early access titles but that's not to say that the game is deficient. If I wanted to I could sink endless hours into this game with what's there so far I just rather wait for the full experience. I've been keeping track of the updates and each one has added awesome new mechanics. This game is worth every penny.

This game is awesome, great story, cool characters, fun combat, interesting world to explore. If you enjoyed the original then this is the sequel you've been waiting for, if you didn't play the original then get ready for a fun adventure that has depth but knows not to take itself to seriously.

Some of these steam reviews need to get down voted, it's always the same group of airheads.

You got the knuckle dragging smooth brains on here "feels like a game from [insert random year]" when i'm almost certain that in that year their preferred gaming platform was likely an iPad.

Then you always have the "poor performance" crowd. These dudes rock 16gb of ram on an i5, rocking iris graphics have 17 tabs open watching "streamers", 4 malware scans running, a crypto miner from their free gta 6 download, and then wonder why everything runs like crap on their machine.

Then, the absolute scourge of the PC gaming community. "Too much reading", please, please, sell you're PC and go back to licking your lead paint laced walls.

a little janky but its fine

This game will give you the greatest sense of exploration you've ever felt in a video game. It will wear thin over-time but the initial rush is something you'll be hard pressed to find in any other game.

There is a ton of stuff to do and the developers have taken very good care of the game by providing meaningful updates that add new content and way to play.

If you like space exploration at all, and you really want to feel like an explorer then you can't really go wrong with this game.

Now.... now we wait for light no fire.

This game is OK, there are a ton of technical issues that team says they are working on but it's going to be hard for them to add the polish required to really bring this up to the level of a grim dawn, d2, d3, or POE. The game is made with Unity, that's likely the original sin here.

The mechanics are compelling, but the lack of polish is very off putting and will it make it hard for most players to truly enjoy this game, but, if you don't mind playing something that's a little rough around the edges you'll enjoy this game.

The devs listen, so that's good.

I am very happy with my experience in this game so far. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first started playing but I was pleasantly surprised by the well written dialog, the fleshed out characters, and the ability to make choices that feel like they really matter to the story I'm playing out. The movement does feel little... rough but this is easily overlooked by everything this game does right.

Overall, it's very easy to recommend this game. I'm looking forward to finishing this and then playing more games built on the lore of this world.

I ended up snagging the collector's edition on PS5 from their website. Anyone who really loves the characters should take a look, I think they had a few more available on all platforms.
