Good game, NOT FOR (all) PLATFORM FIGHTER FANS THOUGH.
If you like doing crazy true combos and pushing kits to your limit, you'll have fun. There is no neutral or defensive play though. Spacing and movement are just style and dps enhancers in this game, not actual defensive tools, because your defense and enemies attacks are entirely balanced around you having an invincible dash. The game play is just dodge attacks when the enemies have armor, beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of them when they don't, with few exceptions. Additionally, you are very rarely actually afforded the opportunity to knock people off the map. From what I've seen, at most once per zone you get a map with actual edges, and you only get one of three potential enemies to fight. Once again, not fundamentally a bad thing, just something to be aware of if you saw the words platform fighter and got excited for the wrong reasons.
