There are some issues with killing moving targets but other than that I didn't encounter any other issues

The bosses belong in Sekiro where you would actually shut them down pretty easily, alas Sekiro this is not, thus, you have to wait for the 6 to 8 hit combo that sometimes chains into another combo to end, before you can get ONE hit in.
Unless you're playing a tank build, the bosses are actively wasting your time.

Play with the unity engine and within it, choose "smaller dungeons", this will make all dungeons, except main quest ones, shorter and much less labyrinthian.
You can also install almost every mod on nexus and 95% of them work well together.
Pro-tip, get yourself the recall spell and cast it after being given a quest, most quests have a time limit so you can instantly complete a quest if the deadline is shorter than the travel time.
Have some console commands handy, tcl is specially usefull in some dungeons.
Would defenitely recommend, but if you're coming from modern bethesda games, as I was, you need to adjust your approach to it, you will have to read every popup show or you'll miss worldbuilding details and consequences for your actions, there's no hand-holding in daggerfall

Good game but suffers the same issue as hotline miami, the enemies have aimbot, enemies with slower reaction times would be more pleasant to fight against, combine this with the limited saves, and some levels become frustrating

The combat is really bad:
1 - everyone has infinite stamina, so everyone spams the same attack or turtle behind a shield all day while blocking all your attacks without taking any damage, this also makes dual wielding enemies really annoying.
2 - Dodging distance is way too big, making a counter attack impossible because you're 5 meters away from your target.
3 - Hit boxes are black magic, sometimes you get hit or hit, sometimes you don't.
4 - Button mashing for the win, you barely need a neuron to kill people in combat.
5 - I recommend playing in "easy", that way the fights don't last too long thus decreasing the chance of getting frustrated by the bad combat

The map is big but there are a lot of empty areas with absolutely nothing happening, therefore there's no reason to step away from the cities unless the games sends you somewhere where the closest fast travel spot is 2km away.

Your horse is painfully slow within cities, you're better off running.

I recommend playing this game with cheats enabled

Once you adjust to the combat and know how to bait bosses, the game is way easier. It took me 2 playthroughs to get a decent grip on the combat. If you have decent reaction times, deflecting will be all you have to do.
