Hi,

My name is Alex. You probably have heard of me through my Portal 2 map series Aperture Shutdown. Unfortunately, I have discontinued any further development on any of those projects due to the complexity of it's design and development as well creating the custom content. I had so many great concepts for maps and even future maps series that would've gone way beyond the norm. (THE DANGER ZONE was going to be Portal 3 concept)

I understand, from what ive heard all the source tools from Filmaker too Hammer are a pain to use, I find it amazing how people like you can make these amazing maps with these Outdated and unstable tools.

Ok.

I couldn't figure out how to customize the gameplay experience using custom models and choreography. Additionally, the Source Engine is outdated and the tools for utilizing it are also way outdated and frequently crash on Windows 10+.

It is possible I might go back to it if I were able to get a small team of the top p2 mod designers (which I have tried to reach out to them but several have ignored me.) to help contribute. I was planning an ambitious epic second half to the whole series that would require more tedious work then the other parts were.

However, I've pretty much moved on from the game.
I really hope you enjoyed playing those maps.
