Writing this after the most recent season 2 addition to the game. Want to congratulate DICE, EA and Vince Zampella for making objectively the worst Battlefield in the franchise (For the time being assuming the game drastically changes with upcoming patches). Battlefield has always been my main FPS franchise since Bad Company. I legitimately tried and forced myself to like this game but it's just borderline unplayable and an overall bad experience.

- Bad Hitreg / Desync and TTD issues remain practically the same as Season 1, no effort or initiative to improve the server performance was shown nor they have intentions of addressing the issue.

- Crossplay is enabled by default and there's no option to disable it. Disabling Crossplay not only would prevent scenarios where controller aim-assist gives console players an unfair advantage under certain situations but it would also mitigate some of the issues such as Bad Hitreg / Desync and TTD issues mentioned previously as Crossplay is known to cause.

- Movement has been changed for absolutely no reason whatsoever. You can still jumpslide and jumpslide-hop so the whole point of the movement nerfs for Season 2 was to make the game feel and play more sluggish.

- Season 2 Gunplay changes only made it easier for players to beam weapons at range and remains inconsistent due to bad Hitreg/Desync issues mentioned previously.

- Headshot multipliers are an absolute joke, the game will not reward you for aiming at an opponents head. Headshots with Sniper Rifles are completely optional as they can still one-shot opponents in the chest with the sweet spot mechanic.

- Mouse input is still broken as it was in 2042. As stated by DICE Game Designer Florian Le Bihan , "recoil is essentially added to your aim input so if you move your aim against the recoil, it will feel more sluggish and if you move your aim with the recoil, it will accelerate your input." Meaning, your mouse input essentially has vector physics to mouse input in relation to recoil control, which in other words could be comparable to mouse acceleration. This is further proof that this game has been fundamentally designed to be played on a controller, not on mouse and keyboard.

- Audio also remains a huge issue even though they did try to address it in season 2 but nothing substantial was achieved in the fixes. Footsteps remain broken and inconsistent , audio perception is completely flawed.

- Visibility remains a huge issue. It's inconveniently difficult to spot enemies. More often than not you find yourself dying to enemies that you don't even get to see. Graphics are genuinely blurry and no amount of resolution, scaling and brightness or color adjustments will improve it.

- The maps are horrible. Small, intentionally designed to force the same gameplay loop with many choke points, too many angles to cover, no tactical depth whatsoever.

- Due to map design, game modes such as Breakthrough have been modified to only support 48 players instead of the staple 64. Even though the maps are smaller, the lobby feels empty, soulless, uneventful and lacks the absolute chaos of a Battlefield.

- Class balance remains the same, Support being objectively the best class in the game as it does 2 roles in 1 Class (Ammo & Meds). The Support class is also the only class in the game that has access to Smoke Grenades, making other classes tactically unreliable. The success of attacking or defending an objective is heavily dependent on the Support class.

- Slow progression , slow attachment unlocks, overall frustrating progression system, assignments that feel more like a chore and an annoyance rather than a rewarding experience.

- Portal has been once again neglected even though it was heavily advertised pre-launch.

- Still no proper server browser. Players are forced to queue to matchmaking. A simple feature yet constantly denied to the playerbase for whatever reason.

- Vehicles are disappointingly underwhelming. RPG velocity is absolutely insane, vehicles lack the maneuverability to actually avoid hits so they get easily destroyed or forced to retreat prematurely in engagements.

- No Linux support.

Battlefield unfortunately has lost its identity, it became a generic shooter that tries to mimic Call of Duty to pursue a business practice rather than provide its players with a good product. If i had to describe Battlefield 6, I'd call it the best Call Of Duty we had in years. There is room for improvement but for the foreseeable future, I'd avoid this game all together if you want a genuine and pure Battlefield experience until they fix and balance & improve the game significantly. For now, we're stuck with an inferior version of the game that plays and feels worse than the Beta version.

If someone would ask me what the greatest game of all time would be, I'd reply Metal Gear Solid 1 without stuttering or thinking twice.

This game is a masterpiece. A timeless classic. This is the foundation that set the standard for the video game industry. It's an historic piece of gaming history that needs to be cherished and appreciated. There are no amount of words that I can say that will fully mirror and express the love and passion I have towards this piece of media.

I first experienced this game at a really young age and used to watch my older siblings playing it on the PlayStation 1 console and an old CRT television.
Back then as a young child I can't say the game had a profound effect on me, I was too young to understand but I still cherished the memories of being glued to the screen just observing and bonding with my siblings.
It was only when years later as a teenager that I revisited it and experienced it for myself that I truly saw it for what it was. This experience allowed me to enlighten myself with the concepts that the game portrayed and the depth of the story and its characters.

It's an emotional roller coaster, an amazing thrill ride from start to finish. I cherish this game so much that I have the original CD's and CD case in a frame on display for decoration purposes in my home. It holds a very special place in my heart. The more distance from the original release we get, the more special it becomes. It's mind blowing that this game released in 1998.
Shadow Moses was where boys became men, and men became heroes. Thank you Hideo Kojima for defining a generation.

This game knows exactly what it represents and doesn't shy away from doing so. They know exactly who the target audience is. Just from the tutorial alone, I could tell that this was a game made by fans for fans of the franchise. So much love and care went into it. It's 2024 and they don't make games like this anymore where Masculinity, Honor, Duty, Loyalty, Comradery and Brotherhood are depicted in such a captivating and influential way. These are qualities that the modern world and the modern game's industry forgot about. This is Warhammer and it remains true and unapologetic to its identity. They absolutely nailed it.

My expectations for Season 2 were low and I'm STILL disappointed. Sick and tired of being forced into a 50/50 situation. Sick and tired of being punished for blocking. Sick and tired of being punished for guessing correctly. Sick and tired of watching my opponent being rewarded for mashing. Sick and tired of my opponent's moves tracking when i sidestep. Everything that made TEKKEN great in the past is now a shell of its former self. A true fan of TEKKEN can see the potential that TEKKEN 8 has but unfortunately people such as Michael Murray, Katsuhiro Harada and Kohei 'Nakatsu' Ikeda have lost their humility and turned into corporate, arrogant and out of touch individuals who take feedback from the community with statements such as "Don't ask me for ♥♥♥♥". They seem to have forgotten that TEKKEN as a franchise was going to terminate with the commercial failure that was TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2, and TEKKEN 7 was the final chance for the franchise to prosper in which WE the community and its players held it throughout the years and made it a success.

After playing DA:O and DA2 previously, it wasn't long until I realized how absurd the PC controls were on this game. You can instantaneously tell that this game was purposely made to be played on a controller, playing on a mouse and keyboard was an afterthought and very little effort was put into the controls.
With that said, the accessibility that previous games had just isn't there anymore. Issuing orders and controlling your characters is a bloody nightmare and super inconvenient, there is no tactical depth that previous games had, not to mention that the UI is so distracting and in general a complete cluster ♥♥♥♥.
It's extremely sad, considering Dragon Age's and Bioware's history regarding this genre.

Sempre joguei todos os títulos desta franchise. Desde o tempo do Winning Eleven do Japão, Pro Evolution Soccer do Ocidente e agora o eFootball.
